Apple Valley Golf Course

For the High Desert one of the best. Great greens, nice fairways and rough not to bad.

Would recommend this course to anyone looking for a user friendly place to tee it up..

This course brings out the good shots you have. Mature trees to shade you from the desert sun. Great staff. Facilities always in great condition. Once you play, you will return.

Staff was very friendly. Fairways were not totally green yet from winter weather, but greens were excellent and in great condition. Speed of play was very good.

Hadn't played here in about 5 years. As a public course, AV is in better condition now than it was when it was private. The greens are quick, but hold well, and roll true. Fairways are coming out of the cold winter very well. I was not expecting the course to be in as good condition as it was.
The only bad thing was that the lakes were drained....but other than that, this was an overall great round of golf.

Booked at the last minute. Found the course in good condition considering the time of year. Would like to see it when 'green'; I'm sure it would be lovely. A nice relaxing afternoon. The greens are definitely 'pure' as described!

This area generally has a severe lack of water, and the golf courses reflect this. You expect the fairways to be a little rough, but the greens were also. It is pretty flat and unmemorable, but we still managed to have a good time with some people that we were paired with. There are not a lot of courses available in the Victorville/Apple Valley area that are public, so if it a choice between here and not playing, I would take Apple Valley.

Wide and straight fairways, which were yellow. Greens were kept nice. Bunkers were mostly hard dirt, not sand. The course is long. The 18th hole was 475-500 yards long. Enjoyable, despite the yellow fairways. No one was on the course after 2:30-3:00.

Old water hazards are no more and fairways are in rough condition on many holes greens and tee boxes seem to be the only areas that receive watering

Overall experience was good course was fairly wide open, a couple of challenging doglegs, a few water holes and flat fairways, staff was friendly and am looking forward to playing there again.

Even though the fairways were not as green and well kept as I would have liked, the greens were well good and true. What a really enjoyed about the course is that it was a cool Saturday afternoon and the course was virtually wide open, making for a very enjoyable round of golf. That made it worth the green fees.

Fairways were dormant, but played nicely. Greens were exceptional. Nice little course and for $15 I absolutely cannot complain. Had a great time. I prefer this course over green tree any day.

the only thing I didn't like is if you get off the fairway in some of the places the grass is to high and I've lost some balls where you would not lose it in most golf courses. Its hard to take 2 strokes where the ball should not have been lost.

The highlight of this course are the greens - they are in great condition. Some of the fairways especially toward the sides are dry, and many of the fairways have mixed weeds in with the grass, but overall it is a very enjoyable course and is maintained. It can get windy, but the day we played it was a good day with no wind. I look forward to playing it again. Play on the weekdays after 10AM and you are sure to have a quick round of golf.

Prefacing my comments by saying the GOLFNOW DEAL"was amazing" $15 each with cart before Noon! The course was pretty good from tee to green and THE GREENS WERE PERFECT! ( Tees were rough, they had recently re-seeded them) Very generous fairways, lots of bunkers & many really beautiful old trees! Most of the water features have been drained which takes away from the beauty of some holes! I will definately tell others and i'll go back as well!
