Central Valley golf at its best
Warm winter day. The course is well maintained and it was a fun day of golf.
Soft greens
Greens were soft but rolled true to me and was still able to spin ball back pretty well on wedge shots
Not Augusta but worth a afternoon
Great course for the price you pay, started at 12 finished at 330 so not to bad pace of play
Fun course.
While the course is somewhat in the middle of nowhere, the drive is worth it. When pulling up, does not look like much and pretty outdated. Hit some balls at the range that was rather short and if you a driver with any decent distance, you'd be getting to a believe the 2nd fairway. Now once I started to play, I enjoyed the course. Have to remember it is the central valley and this is a public course so the fairways are a little dried up but still very enjoyable. Greens were in fairly good conditions, I enjoyed the course overall. Will be coming back.
Nice course for your buck
Only my 3rd time playing at North Kern, for sure will be back again soon. Brought my friend here for his 1st time ever golfing and we had a great time ⛳️
Good 1st time
Good course pace of play was really good never really waited for anyone. Course conditions could have been a big better lots of water on greens but with it being 113 this weekend I understand the need for saturation.

Nice muni course
Really nice municipal course. Fairly quick greens in good shape for this time of year. Very forgiving layout. Enjoyable day.
Perfect day!
I haven't golfed here in over 20 yrs but the coarse was in excellent condition. The greens were challenging to the point you better go up before your 2and or 3rd shot to see were you need to hit it too. The par 4's are long and a nice challenge to the experience golfer. Definitely will play again!
