Brentwood GC was a good course
Some tee boxes bumpy, temporary. Lots of fairway areas very wet, GIR, bare. Most greens bumpy, soft, and or grass dead. It wasn’t a long time ago that I played this course, and it was in good/excellent condition.Though I purchased golf deal, I didn’t get my money’s worth. Maintenance staff need to do a better job; can’t blame the drought anymore!

still needs some work
They are using water, good, soggy in some area and dry in others, not good.

Fun course.
Love this course. All the holes are interesting. There are a few that seem very similar but this course is a great challenge. Bring your fairway finder because if you arent on the fairway youll be ball hawking for a minute.

The greens
This course always had good greens. That’s the thing you could always count on. Now the fairways are getting better but now greens are getting worse.
Stop watering the greens so much and we’ll see a better green.

sand traps and ball cleaners, fairways
no fluids in the ball cleaners.
sand traps some were hard as a rock.
However the fairways are in good shape.

No sand in the sand traps. No putting greens, no driving range

I've been playing this course for years, since new owner/ management took over; some of the staff are extremely rude; and nickel and dime you. Example: when asked to ride in a separate cart; the answer was you booked together you ride together or pay a extra 20 bucks for single rider; considering the is not busy at all; with dozens of carts seating around. Super dissatisfied with this course.

What happened to
This is one of three Eastbay courses designed by Ted Robinson. Each of the three courses has a very good layout.Only one remains in decent shape which is the Crow Canyon country club.Brentwood GC continues to slip,poor bunkers with many rocks,standing water in some fairways weeds &dead patches in others.The greens which when last played were the high point now have some sort of fungus on some greens.Two of the greens had ground squirrel holes matching the many holes being created in the fairways.Without much improvement would be hard to recommend at this price.Carts suck

Better condition than last time
Course conditions have improved since the last time I played here. They are now allowing carts back on to most fairways. Greens aren’t bad, but some of the people playing here need to learn to fix their ball marks. Under current conditions, I’d recommend playing here. The prior sloppy conditions not so much.

Brentwood Golf
No practice green, no chipping green, no driving range, all sandtraps had small rocks in them and weeds and grass growing in them! Its a good layout, but not a walking course at all.
