Brentwood Golf Club - Creekside/Hillside Course

Course cannot accommodate their advertised tee times. The last two rounds played here we paid for 18 holes WITH golf cart, both times we were told they didn’t have enough carts. In February, there were approximately 20 people waiting outside pro-shop to get carts from groups coming off. We decided to walk since the pro-shop said they were an hour behind on tee times, pace of play was 5+ hours. Played Father’s Day, we’re told again they didn’t have enough carts. Luckily we were the first group at this cutoff, we only waited about 10 minutes. However, the group after us on the tee sheet checked in extra early and got carts before us and essentially took our tee time because the Marshall wasn’t doing his job on the first tee. This was almost a 6 hour round, which is unacceptable even on a holiday. Poor business model to overbook and then shaft your customers when they show up. If tee times were an extra 2 minutes spread out it would alleviate pace of play and golf cart issues mentioned. As far as course conditions, too many fairways over-saturated and bunkers with dirt/rocks instead of sand. Your drive should not plug in the middle of the fairway! Been coming here roughly 10 years, don’t plan on going back until they fix the issues.

Brentwood Golf course is in great condition now. Staff friendliness is wonderful. Pro shop staff, Alex is always helpful, and friendly his customer service is excellent. Will play this course again.

Living in Oakley I don’t have much of a choice between golf courses. It’s basically either Brentwood or lone tree. Let me just say there is a reason lone tree is always booked. It is because of how terrible the Brentwood location is. Told myself I would never come back here because it took us 4 hours to get through 7 holes. Turned around and got our money back. Not only are you paying almost $70 but you cannot drive your carts on the grass , the workers are working on the fairways during prime time tee times on the weekends which holds you up, no cart person. We were playing at such a fast pace that the group in front of us let us skip them. Right after that happens the course Marshall comes up to us and tells us we need to hurry and we are 3 1/2 holes behind. We explained that the group let us skip them because they were playing so slow so it wasn’t our fault. He proceeds to rush us out of the cart when we finish our round then follows me into the shop when I was going in there to complain and starts arguing with me when I wasn’t even talking to him . Very unprofessional staff and horrible course. Would much rather drive an hour away to Swenson golf course in Stockton. The hour drive is worth overpaying for the horrible experience and rude staff at Brentwood.

Go to the Lone Tree course if you live in the Antioch/Brentwood area. The only good thing I have to say about this course is that the greens are actually in really good condition and the the course itself isn’t that bad but for the amount of money it’s a rip off. The staff tried telling us to hurry up when we weren’t holding anybody up and even though our cart said only 7 minutes behind, the marshal insisted that we were three and a half holes behind when we were on hole 16. Also hard to keep the pace when almost the entire course is cart path only. Because there are only two courses in the area they can charge anything they want.

Carts are not allowed to go in certain holes although I don’t see any reason for it. And the carts are very annoying as it will stop sometimes even on non cart path holes. I used to half way enjoy playing this course but with this new rules? There’s plenty of course around with even better price and much better conditions.

I play here once a week. Love going out around 2pm. The course is all mine. The greens are rolling perfectly. The fairways are looking better each time out. I like this course way better than Diablo creek in concord, I played 18 holes in 2 hours. Way better than a 5 hour round at Diablo creek!

I have been played this course since the new management take over this course more than a year ago. Now the course is in very good condition with both fairways and greens. They are having the promotion with play 3 rounds and get to play a free round now. I am strongly suggest you to come play the beautiful course.

Course is in great condition. Looking to play again soon

This is a very nice course near my home. I like how there are a varying layout of hole types. Long with fair bunkers and shorter with water hazards. A course to test your skills and have fun.

Greens are fantastic. The fairways are in decent shape. Bunkers need a little work. The only complaint I have is the gps on the steering column, how the cart will stop on you. Let’s us roam free!!! I know there are people that drive in places they are not supposed to, but it gets annoying.

Course was in ok condition. Nothing special.

Pace of play was awful. People leaving left and right because we waited every shot. 30 mins late to tee off and 5.5+ hours to finish

on most fairways there were excessive areas that did not allow the cart to run
