too many cart restrictions for areas to drive
on most fairways there were excessive areas that did not allow the cart to run

Getting better?
Fairways in better shape rough still patchy and not well maintained bunkers are just dirt and weed pits greens are in pretty rough shape some have gopher holes in them pace was painfully slow with high handicap players playing from the tips no marshal and the BevCart was seen on first hole and not again until the 15th hole overall not worth the 60$ fee

Airrin out the greens
I thought this was to good to be true, at such a good price, was not informed that they had punched the greens. Pro shop or the website said anything about it.

Decent course but no practice facilities at all.
No practice facilities, chipping or putting green. Then I found out there were Aerated Greens and didn’t get told until I got to the starter.

Punched Greens, no notice
There's not much more frustrating than booking a tee time online, driving 45 minutes, and finding out that the greens at the course have been punched and sanded within the last week. I would not have driven out to Brentwood to play the course had I known about this before. I was given a $5 discount upon checking in but that wasn't nearly enough to offset the disappointment.
I emailed the GM and as of now I have not heard back. I normally love this course and the staff is great but this sort of bait and switch mentality does not fly in this competitive golf market.

Did not realize they just punched the greens and sanded , but the course was nice and almost Deserted. Staff was very friendly so would give it a 4 out of 5

Not good
Upon arrival I was told, aggressively, by the cart guy that I cannot drive the cart in the parking lot to pick up my clubs. Then I was told the only way to hole 1 was through the parking lot. The first tee box was a 15 min drive from the club house and I was told there would be no plugging on the course. Hence, the tee box being so far away, since the original hole was was being plugged. Arrival at the course we were told was not being plugged until tomorrow, come to find out the whole course was plugged and mud was caked on our shoes to the point we had no traction with our spikes. When we called the club house to complain, they told us to deal with it and talk to the owner, since it wasn't their course.... qhen we made the turn, the same cart guy guy from earlier told a group to start on hole 10 since they were having trouble finding hole 1. Now we had to wait about 15 min for a group they put in front of us half way through our round... not pleased.

Almost there!
This has been my local course for some time, but conditions got so bad, you'd have to pay me to play it. Apparently, they've begun to rehab the course and have a maintenance program that's paying off. Greens are back, fairways are mowed, bunkers have sand...still need some time for the tee boxes to fully return, but B wood you're going in the right direction....

Bunker sand
Courses in pretty good shape and now they’ve added some sound of the bunkers although the bunkers do need more sanding them

Brentwood
Course was in great shape. Greens were awesome, fairways were nice, but the sand traps were in horrible shape.

Can see what other reviews mean, but definitely improving!
Can see what other reviews mean regarding the conditions of the course, but I will definitely play it again. Bunkers are straight up dirt, but there are piles of fresh sand in the parking lot assuming to be installed. Good layout, fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. Cart GPS/cart path only rules were really tough and slowed things down as we had two beginners in our group. I spent more time juggling carts than I did golfing. Some very tricky greens, I was pleasantly surprised with the layout. Not sure if it was the wind or Masters Sunday but no one was out there for a noon tee time.

Much improved
This course has a fun and challenging layout. Their problem used to be poor fairway conditions. But the fairways are much improved. And it seems they are working on getting the bunkers in better condition. Greens were consistent speed and were very true.
