Grass cuttings on fairways and bunkers pointless
I like the direction the course is going but why little things would add a lot of value.
1 - don't leave huge balls if grass cuttings in the middle of fairways. Looks so cheap and to be taken seriously as a course you should have cuttings all over the course
2 - I am sure they have a plan for the bunkers but right now they should all be close or GIR. The easiest way to make a course look sharp is to have clean looking bunkers. They act like a frame to a picture. Please take care of the bunkers soon.
3 - Cart service should be 3x what they have. Without a shop at the turn you need to ensuee your cart service is very strong. This isn't the case right now at Brentwood..
Please keep investing in the course and keep moving the club forward. There is a lot to still do but I like the direction they are going.
Don't waste your money at this course. Cost was $49 & not even close to being worth it. No driving range, no putting green or practice facilities at all. Fairways hadn't been cut in several days. Up to 1 1/2" long in many areas. Rough was long & thick. Bunkers had little sand. One hole had an open or broken sewer line running across the fairway. Overall, it was a horrible experience & I won't return.

Local members have no manners
Course is coming back from what was possibly a 1 star so that is encouraging, however a lot of work still needs to be done.
Biggest issue we always face are the local members and the lack of manners or care they have. Driving through the course as you play, jumping in whenever they like or as we found today, cutting the line and doing as they please.
It is off putting for anyone coming into to play and makes you feel unwelcome.
The course has taken a good turn, not the local residents need to welcome people back.

Cart Path Only on 7 Holes?
THe pace of play is slow because there are several holes that are cart path only.
Also the carts will "Lock Down" if you go too far in the rough. 16 is cart path only and my cart was at the tee box on the path and it started beeping like I was driving off the path.
they really need to open the course. it turns a 4 1/2 hr round into 6.

Below Average
Bunkers unkept, some areas are soggy, some greens have damaged areas, grass/rough areas inconsistent, No longer a value price, golf carts can no longer be driven in the parking lot to retrieve your clubs.
It's not a horrible course, but it's below average conditions at an above average price.

Too many holes were carts not allowed
If I had known so many holes were cart path only I would have asked for handicap adjustment, but didn't find out until we were out on course. Not sure why course was doing this since it wasn't wet. My cart mate was very unhappy and said he would not play there again.

Cart Path only on 5 holes
There are five holes that are cart path only that really slow down the round.

I’m shooting myself in the foot. Here goes, pass of play is slow if you try to get out after 12. Limited amount of carts mainly due to COVID 1 person per cart rule. Keep in mind, the GPS in the carts is is the only way to counter the players that need to drive the carts on every inch of the golf course even the ones that drive right up to the greens. Yes, previous management let the place go and didn’t care and either did the customers. Hence the reason the course was so thrashed. New owner is doing a great job and seems to be getting a couple bunkers done per week. New tee boxes have been added, greens are in great shape and there’s grass where there should be. The course is starting to align with the fees. Give it a shot!

Far too crowded
Took over 4 hours just to complete 26 holes. We finally quit after that. No marshals, groups sent out every 5 minutes. Had to call the pro-shop at the turn to ask for help and we were told to call the owner! He did come out, pace picked up for only 4 holes and at the 17th, two foursomes waiting to tee off in front of us and one on the green.
I didn’t give one star only because the staff was friendly and course in good condition, even though we’re in a drought.
I would have to think twice about playing here again because of the above, which is unfortunate.

The course fairways are coming back but were long and uncut to the point you were playing out of the rough in the middle of the fairway. Several of the bunkers were not kept up at all and full of rocks making it impossible to hit a ball out of them without damaging your golf clubs. If the bunkers are not going to be kept up, they should be filled in and made into grass bunkers or rough. The course has a very good layout and would be a nice course to play with some work. In the current condition they should not be charging $50.00 during the week.

Cart Path Only
The course is nice. However every hole is cart path only. The staff doesn’t help you at all. The carts GPS shuts off the cart randomly. Even the hole that are not cart path only have cart restrictions you can only enter the fairway past a sign making it difficult to play the staff should tell you that

This course is a joke!! Bunkers with no sand, fairway and greens in poor condition.
