No Marshall, slow play
The course is a good springtime condition. The gentleman in the clubhouse was friendly and explained to us. It was gonna be extremely slow because there were a number of seniors in front of us of which I am one. It was so slow that after the 4th hole. We skipped two holes and got wide open and played the remaining ten holes in is dur two hours. They need a marshall out there.

Bad Value
This course is way overpriced. There are no practice areas. The tee boxes are a joke. The fairways are dirt in many places. The greens are pretty good, compared to the rest of the course. If the charged less then the value might be more reasonable. But they are charging a premium price for a poorly maintained course.

Lush and green
The course looks great, kudos for turning the place around, staff friendly.
Couple things, the sand traps are a disgrace, if you can't maintain them fill them in.
Once you start playing, there is no way to get a drink when the beverage cart is unavailable(99.9° of the time), no fountain or water dispensers .

Too wet
Fairways too slope, wet in March.
The Golf cart is terrible to use.
NEED recharged IT??
Golf Course is surrounded by houses which make me crossing streets . Made me too nervous 😓.
I never see the golf course crossing many street to playing golf ⛳️..
But layout course was big challenge 🤪

Local Spot
If you are within the proximity of 25 miles of this course, it’s a no brainer to play. I wouldn’t go out of my way to play it, but for a local spot, it offers elevation Changes and water hazards. The houses line much of the holes so keep it straight if you can. Nice challenging course that’s not too pricey. 7 out of 10, I’ll play again.

Course Getting Better
I last played here over the summer and the course was pretty much unplayable with flooded fairways, over grown or dead grass, etc. It has improved and was in much better condition. It seems like there is ongoing maintenance to continue the improvements. I probably wouldn’t recommend it at this point but things are improving there.

Marshall which we never see during the round pushed everyone off the course at 5:30!

Time heals all
Love this course, probably the best public layout in contra Costa.. it's been improving over the last few years. Green complexes are great and they have them firm and fast. Fairways are healing but have grass. Bunkers are incredibly expensive to repair and maintain (for hear probably 2 million to install proper underdrains and replenish sand and around hundred thousand per year.) Pace of play can be unbearable (low rates no courses nearby so get quite a few weekend hackers). All in all go early worth your time especially if you get hot deal or golf now rate

Greens and fairways looking great.
I play this course all the time because it’s close to my house. I haven’t play there in 2 months because of rain. The course is coming along nicely. Just a little maintenance on tee boxes. Everything else looks good.

Fairway is in good condition but the green is brown and some tee box is under repair but for price on Teeoff I will play again !!!
