DO NOT PLAY BRENTWOOD
Pathetic. I had a tee time of 11:08am. Didn't tee off until after 12noon because they were so backed up. Course conditions were absolutely horrible. I wouldn't come back here if they offered me a free round. Don't waste your time.

poor conditions
The 1:30 T time was delayed by one hour and 45 minutes due to not enough carts. They had allot of carts that were is non working condition that led to the shortage. The course was in bad condition and the the greens were horrific.

OMG stay away from this course it is horrible they should not be allowed to charge people to play on it it's so bad.

Nice layout, needs some work to bring it back in shape
Somewhat disappointed in the course conditions. This is a nice track that is laid out in an adult (over 55) community. The layout is nice and holes have a nice mix of water, elevation and length. Conditions have gotten worse since the last time I played several months ago. Tee boxes were shaggy, fairways have many dead spots and large patches of weeds, crab grass everywhere. Fairway lies are uneven. Green are in decent shape for the most part only a few dry patches. Some bunders had sand, others were weeded over. I'll come back after they make improvements but not willing to play again in it current conditon because of the crappy lies in the fariway and weed and dry patches everywhere..

Shame on the owner
Most of the greens are in fair condition, tee boxes, traps and fairways need a lot of work.
Spread out some grass seed and fix this place.
Pace of play was very slow, several times we ran into four groups on one hole! No Marshall?
Please clean up the pond scum!
Over priced for these conditions.
Love the course, it's a shame the owner doesn't!

Super friendly staff
Drove about 40 minutes away to play this course. As it had the only early tee time for a single on a Saturday in the area. Lady at check-in behind the counter was super friendly and accommodating. Decided to walk for the exercise, even though had to pay same price as if I had taken a cart. Not great, but whatever. Most greens were in great shape, but a couple had dirt patches near part of the fringe. Some fairways were in good shape, others had bare patches. Lots of water, with some course knowledge helpful. Overall, had a good time, and played 18 in 3 hours, but that’s because I was first out.

Summer Conditions
This course used to get cooked early so on the positive side it has held up better than recent summers. The work to improve the fairways has taken a back seat to the usual crabgrass invasion. Putting out of the bunker on 16 was required so no changes on that aspect of the course. The greens were rolling much better but also had some burnout areas and waffle patches. I'm just glad it's open and accessible.

Nice day
Played behind the men’s club so waited on lost tees as expected. Greens were in bery good condition. Last month fairways were having grass issues and very thin. Not great yet but coming back nicely. B

Nice weather
This course is getting back to the way they were when it first opened. Fairways are green again ( there are some dry spots) and the greens are in great shape!! I’ve always liked playing here but the last couple of times the course has been rough, but now I love it!! Keep it up

Pace was too slow at back 9 holes
I play almost twice a week at this course ( Creek side/Hillside) and I am constantly facing the problem at back 9 where other golfers join from Hillside from Diablo. It really slows the pace down specially when course management allow fivesome of seniors.
I usually book first tee time at 6:00 am so that I could finish my 18 holes in 3 hrs. I request the management to look into how can they make it smoother for golfers who start early in the morning to finish their round in 3 hrs.
Here is some suggestion:
Start the Diablo round at 8:00 am instead of 7:00 am or keep Diablo as 9 holes course only for seniors so that they can enjoy the course at their pace without creating a backlog at the course.

Has potential
the greens are in pretty good shape and roll real nice. The bunkers are in bad shape- no maintenance- weeds- rocks- fairways mostly good- but a lot of patches with no grass.

Needs work.
I've played here for 20 years. Fairways are getting pretty bad. With courses closing nearby they need to step up there game. It would be nice if they purchased more carts. With Covid 19 they run out of carts by mid morning and we had to wait an hour after our Tee time for a cart.

Unorganized waited over an hour for a cart
This course continues to over book leaving golfers waiting in line.Nicer an hour. They do not have enough carts. Our tee time was at 10:23 tee off at 11:35. . The pace was terrible it took us 5 hours no Marshall in sight He probably had no cart. . Players in front of us hitting multiple balls Looking for balls every hole they were just teeing off no one in front of them. Fairways are dry. The owner doesn’t care he needs to get this course maintained and invest in some carts. He has a monopoly therefore he doesn’t care this is what someone on the staff even stated and it shows. Very unorganized. Bring back Roddy Ranch , Shadow Lakes And Deer Ridge!
