Slow Pace
Pace of play could be better, to many High handicappers playing. Beginners should play during twilight not early in the morning or mid morning.

Lakeview in Harrisonburg
We always look forward to playing here when we visit the area on vacation. The course is in good shape the pace of play was reasonable. Lakeview is a must play for us every year when we visit the area

This is the second time to play this course. It has been a few year’s in between rounds it got better with time. Everything was great. Highly recommend

Just an excellent place to golf
I love coming here to play. The conditions are always great and overall experience is excellent. Staff always working on the course and it is always in top tier shape. Greens are true and views are amazing. I have a lot of friends who are members and they are happy with the courses and facilities.

Was a great course except…
The course was beautiful and for a great price, but we ended up leaving after 4-1/2 hours and still only on hole 15. The pace of play was exceptionally slow. Unfortunately one of the 9’s was not allowed to be played. There was several walkers throughout the course which could have assisted in slowing the pace of play as well. When we made it to the turn, the kitchen was closed and not offering food anymore (2:10). Unfortunately the pace of play kept us from getting to the turn sooner. The staff was very nice and the course was in very good shape. I hope it was a one time deal and not like that next time.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Value
If you're looking for a course to play on the weekend for a reasonable rate, Lakeview is a great option. The course was very busy, but with three nines, the pace of play was good. The fairways are thin this time of year, but that's typical of most courses at the end of winter. The greens were excellent, smooth and true.
