Fun layout in great condition
Played Mountain and Lake nines. Very picturesque on a beautiful fall day. Greens were excellent and quick. Be careful if it’s a forward pin, several false fronts. Just a few little thin spots on a couple tees, but not a problem. A quality golf course at a great value! Will definitely return.
Fun course and in good shape.
'The course was in very good shape. Greens were smooth and quick. Played the Mountain/Lake 9's. Leaves were blown away from the greens and fairways. Fairways were in good shape. I enjoy playing here. Good people in the pro shop also.

Hidden gem
Have played Lakeview several times and enjoyed each outing. Course is always in great shape. ( Tees are going into a winter transition right now). Staff is friendly and informative. I drive two hours from Lynchburg to play and I pass many good courses to play Lakeview

Great course excellent staff
We always play Lakeview at least once when we visit our timeshare at Massanutten. The price is right,the staff friendly, & the course is always in good shape.A much better course to play than either one at Massanutten at half the price!

Fun course.
Overall the course was in good shape. 2 greens were covered with leaves. Other than that the course was in good shape. Some pin placements were in tough spots but that is what makes golf fun. Greens were quick.

Fairways were good. Greens were very quick. Tee boxes need lots of work.

Good golf layout
First time playing this golf course.
It is much better than expected.
The pace of play is excellent.
The layout is conventional.

Needs TLC
The course had high ruff and we kept losing balls in the fairway. The grass was not cut properly and the first hole had so many leaves we both could not find our balls after good blind shots in the fairway. Rather spend my money at Massanutten.

Enjoyable
The Mountain and Peak 9s offered interesting challenges to the golfer. I have a 16 handicap and enjoyed the challenge. My only complaint was the amount of crab grass in the rough. The fairways were fine and so were the greens. Even hitting out of the sand was not an unpleasant task. I would definitely play the course again.

Fabulous views
The course has some amazing views. We played the mountain side and have to say it was spectacular at times. The only problem was we had to wait on every shot from the first to the 18th. We thoroughly enjoyed the course though.

Hidden Gem
We stay at Massenutten same week each year and come mainly to golf. Looking for a different course I found this course on Golf Now and was surprised they have 27 holes. Good value, only thing I recommend is that they clear range balls off hole 1 on peak course, it was very difficult to find ball on first hole as my ball was same color as range balls. Definitely will be back next year.
