DeBell Golf Club
About
DeBell Golf Club in Burbank offers an 18-hole Regulation Course and a nine-hole disc golf course. The Regulation Course has a tight layout with narrow fairways and a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Accuracy is the key to doing well on this golf course but it's not overly punishing. Its risk-reward holes will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The front nine is fairly challenging but the back nine is where the golf course gets tough. Although DeBell Golf Club is short, only 5,608 yards from the back tees, the blind shots and winding doglegs make it seem much longer than it is. There isn't any water on the golf course but you'll hardly miss its presence with all the other hazards that lurk throughout.

Great course, tough layout!
Great course, perfect day. It was tough course to play for sure but great challenge for sure. Don't let the yardage fool you, there are great par 5 there! The pro shop and restaurant looked nice but didn't get a chance to enjoy. Pace was good don't think we waited much at all on a busy Saturday.
LA Golf
Great impressions from my first golf experience in California!
Beautiful scenery, layout and some challenging holes!
Fairways and greens in great condition.
The only improvement needs to be done with some cart paths, which get affected by rains.
Overall great atmosphere for golf experience!
Short Course
Interesting place to play. Very short par 4’s with severe dogleg configurations. Numerous at +/- 300 yards. Tiny greens. Fair pace of play for a Friday afternoon. Good value. Course was in good shape. Tee boxes were a little torn up but fairways and greens were nice. Would play again.
Great day.
Great day but we wish there was someone to answer the phone at the restaurant when we called on the 9th hole
Beautiful course
De Bell is a beautiful course. It is definitely a challenging course with greens that are challenging to read correctly. It's definitely not a course for beginners, as I found out. However, the course is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. It's definitely a challenge for any skill level.
Course great cart road dangerous
Fund course but didn't seem to take care of the rest of the ourse too much
Shot Shaping Course
Love the fact that you have to place your shots and think about your next shot. Overall course conditions were very good. Greens were in excellent condition.
Most Interesting Public Course In LA County
If you don't want to drive to another county for a reasonably priced exciting course, DeBell is definitely the course for you. They are repairing some damage from the heavy rains, but the fairways are great and the layout is so much fun!
So many public courses across LA feature boring layouts across flat terrain with little excitement. Although LA's courses are conveniently located, I drove hours outside LA every weekend in search of better golf experiences.
I initially underestimated DeBell's short par 71 tucked away in the foothills of Burbank. I hadn't been recommended the course, never really heard much about it, and found it through Google Maps searches for golf courses. That said, I'd like to try every course once and promptly booked a Tuesday morning 6:40 AM tee time.
Leading up to my round misty weather forecast likely lead to a lot of golfers canceling their tee times - so I moved mine up to 6 AM. When I arrived two groups teed off before me and I was alone on the tee box for 10 minutes until 5:55. I hit my first shot into the fog, waited a few minutes to see if any partners would arrive, and began walking the course at 6.
For 18 holes wet and soggy holes, I worked my way up, down, and around the hills that DeBell is built into and I was absolutely delighted to be there. This is easily the most unique and serene golf course I have experienced in Los Angeles County, especially during a weekday dawn round. The scenery and natural environment of this course are top of their class.
Although it is short, it is a technical course that forces golfers to think and play smart. Some narrow fairways and dramatic doglegs add variety while cleverly weaving the course in and out of the foothills. Hole Twelves' signature blind tee shot does not disappoint and is the perfect example of how this course elevates its layout despite its small footprint.
DeBell was clearly designed into the landscape, rather than being built across flattened lots allotted for city parks projects. It was a great round and I highly recommend this course to anyone that is seeking a fun, well-kept course within LA County.
Still a great course!
DeBell is a true jewel in Burbank! A beautiful course nestled in the hills of Burbank! When you go, please take plenty of balls because you’ll need to if you are someone who has left or right leakage LOL! The ambience and aesthetics are super pleasing And the pace of play was excellent. Go play DeBell!
There was several areas being repaired right now but I’m looking forward to playing when the course is completed
Bring lots o’balls
I have a love/hate relationship with DeBell. Just kidding it’s tight , it’s trick & remarkably beautiful.
Well worth it. Bring plenty o’balls
