Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

Good experience. Not as fancy as some but enjoyed the day.
Great executive course.
Course is in great shape. Greens run true and run at a good speed. Fairways are great, bunkers are a bit firm. Fun course to play. After finishing the 1st hole, we were on the tee box for the 2nd hole. The group behind got to the green and a woman from the local ladies club told us to pick it up because she didn't want to be waiting all day. Very rude and inconsiderate. They never caught up to us again.

Ok
You know is an Executive 18, so short, no par5s , but the course is in excellent shape. Nice carts . greens are moderate easy putting but in good shape. Consistent. Were mid handicappers so it was great to play as a warmup and have fun.
Easy Track-Friendly Folks
My wife prefers Executive Courses when we are going to play 18 holes. Found this little gem on GN app and what a great deal! Greens were a well maintained but a tad shaggy and putted slow as a result. But plenty of opportunities to get in trouble with this short layout. A little tight, too, so if you’re a sprayer be prepared to meet the people who live in the mobile homes that line this course. Marshall was out and very friendly as was the in the pro shop who checked us in. We will play again.
