Date Palm Country Club
About
Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

Great venue
Relaxing 18 hole, well maintained with s few challenges
Nice Little Gem
This was a fun course for practicing our short game. The greens and fairways were well kept and it was a pleasure to be there. The fairways are narrow and lined by manufactured homes that show a great deal of pride in ownership. One must be careful to hit the ball straight, so as not to damage someones home. It would also be nice if there were restrooms open to the public besides the club house. All in all, this course was enjoyable.
Great little Course
Wonderful day..course in good shape.. need to better signage for 10th hole. Luckily other golfers had played before and showed us the way!
great pace play
The course was great for working on short game and consistent greens.
Date Palm nothing special
Staff was not real welcoming, some confusion on starting. Restaurant by the pro shop has some great sandwiches. Probably won't go back. Greens were horribly slow..
Good course for couples
We played this course with another couple. It was their first round of the year. This was a perfect course for all of us. You are not going to use your driver but you can practice the most important part of the game.
Executive course
First game of the season, so it was a good starter.
Greens are slow compared to most courses.
Presented some challenges, with some water holes.
Unfortunately, one group held up the entire course; we waited on every hole as did everyone else..
Great little course!
The greens were very slow but they were consistent. Course was a nice layout and the price was excellent! We had a great day, it was an excellent way to start the trip after not touching a club for 3 months.
Worthwhile experience!
This was a great first time experience on this course.the only criticism was that the greens were extremely slow. However, for the price, it is understandable!
Would do it again, especially with two grandsons aged 10 and 12.
Thank you to the most friendly staff.
nice suprise
I was expecting a longer course, but came to realize w/my golf skills this is going to work. Nice layout and friendly folks everywhere.
Great Course for Older Folks
Only 2.5 hours to play 18 holes.
Target Golf
Date Palm is a nice course with beautiful views. There are lots of trees providing good shade. Of course the trees also get in the way of good shots. Although the holes are fairly short, there are many challenges which test your accuracy.
Nice Executive Course
The staff is very friendly and the course was in great shape. It's an Executive course with par 3's and 4's. As you would expect, the fairways are narrow. There a few water hazard and some trees. Overall it's a fun little course
Very nice course
I enjoyed my round. the course was in good shape considering how early in the season it is. The greens were slow due to the recent reseeding.
Well maintained Gc and friendly people.
Everyone was friendly. Had a great hamburgers for lunch. Very challenging with many water holes.
Office help
It's been about 3 months since I last came, and that experience was very pleasant. Office staff was very sweet and helpful. Unfortunately this time around I cannot say the same. This whole unpleasant experience started when my husband And I tried calling date palm country club office to get a little information. The woman answered the phone, did not state who she was, which I thought was very in professional and unusual from the service that we are used to.the woman was as unpleasant and was clearly rushing me off of the phone. So we decided to take the drive down to hopefully talk to someone that was able to assist us. Unfortunately we where not. The woman in the office kept cutting my husband off until he got so frustrated that we left. Unfortunately we will not be Going back.
