They let unsigned groups in front so the whole day T times get delayed the whole day. We teed off 45 mins late and waited 5-7 mins every hole.

Value with time to waste

Friday midday round took five hours. The other people were extremely wonderful to play with. The staff were excellent. The condition was great. The greens were amazing for a public course; but very slow and often gaps in holes between groups that didn’t keep pace.

Great Course and very enjoyable round

Beautiful course layout. Very playable. Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Tee boxes also in good condition. Good shots rewarded and not penalized by poorly placed hazards or hitting through fairways. Staff friendly and helpful. Looking forward to playing again soon.

Sunday 1:15pm tee time. Took 5 hours to finish. Had to wait to tee off on at least 13 or 14 holes. Condition is decent but pace of play is just unreasonably slow.

Costa Mesa golf

the course is great shape, green and fairway great condition. I worried that we not get to finish the course before dark like last time with 3 holes to go. But got lucky to finish before got really dark. One of the main reason I have not return back to this course is the pace of play. It is terrible to play 5 1/2 hours and you are waiting on every hole is bad. I will not get any tee time after 2pm, You will not finish before dark.

Slow start

I booked the Mesa course at 920. There were 7-9 groups waiting to tee Off, the staff said they were a few minutes behind.(closer to an hour)! We were weighing our options and they were able to get us out on the lake course. A pretty slow front 9 but picked up on the back. The course was in very good condition and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price.
