About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

DLB Course
I've been playing this course since I moved here from KC in 2002. We used to play for $20 bucks before covid. They are over pricing now at $70 bucks!! Lower price some and stop with the pre-pay!! This is NOT Pebble Beach!
Nice Course
Perfect course to work on your short game. Early tee times are better. Due to the inexperienced golfers on the course.
DLB Course
It's my home course, so I love it. But, the price should be lower. Before covid, we used to play for $20 bucks. Also its not a premier course, so the pre-pay should go away!

Moderate Course with slow pace of play
Saturday mid day tee time was backed up about 3-4 groups, I guess that’s to be expected at an affordable course on the weekend. Course was average, very tight and compact. I would play here again if it was a really good deal, didn’t feel like a good deal just average with a lot of wait time (probably 2-4 groups backed up at every tee box).

Greens in great shape
The greens were in great shape. The overall course was in good shape. There were a couple of areas that needed repair, the restaurant has really gone downhill since Covid, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a meal. The staff is always friendly. Pace of play was slow. 4.5 hours on a weekday at noon. Letting people out in twosomes is not the way to go. But all in all I like this course. I will be returning, but will eat elsewhere.

Slow pace
The course was in great condition, the driving range was nice and the hotdogs at the turn were top tier. The pace of play was excruciatingly slow. Tee time at 6am, didn't tee off until 6:20. From there it was the slowest short par course I have ever been to. Started 6:20am didn't finish until 11am. We were waiting at every hole and so were the 2 groups in front of us.

Rained out
It was rained out, no carts were available because of the rain, then the staff told me I had to call golf now to get a rain check and my money back for the cart fee.
