It’s always the same thing
Chaotic at the first tee box. Multiple groups with the same time scheduled or and a group that was late
It was discouraging and almost made me want a refund
The course is great but the pace is just way to slow
Beautiful Course, But Budget Your Entire Day
Let me start with the good: the course itself is in outstanding condition. Fairways were lush and well-manicured, greens rolled true and fast, and the overall layout is genuinely enjoyable. If you’re judging purely on the quality of the turf and course design, this is a 4- or 5-star experience.
Unfortunately, everything else drags it down significantly.
We finished 18 holes in just under 6 hours. Six hours. That’s not a round of golf — that’s a full workday. Every hole had groups stacked up waiting to tee off, and there was zero course management to address it. Not a single marshal made an appearance the entire round. No one was moving groups along, checking on pace, or addressing the bottlenecks forming at nearly every par 3 and par 5.
Making matters worse, there were no beverage or snack carts circulating the course. Bring your own water and snacks, because you won’t find any relief on the course.
The fix here isn’t complicated: deploy marshals to actively manage pace of play, and consider reducing the number of tee times or increasing the gap between groups. The course is clearly booking beyond its comfortable capacity, and paying customers are the ones absorbing the cost of that decision in lost time and frustration.
This place has genuine potential and a strong product on the turf side. But until the operations team addresses pace of play, it’s hard to recommend — especially for anyone with a finite amount of time in their day.
Greens were good.
The course was in overall good condition and the greens were in very good shape. Pace of play was good.
Popular track
Played early, 7:30 AM and played as group of 5. Was worried it would take 5 hrs+ but after first couple holes it opened up and we played in 4 hrs 10 minutes. Played with 84 yr old and a couple other regulars and had a great round. I’ll be back
Great courses
Best courses for the $$ by far, can play a little slow at times, but no big deal.
Worst Pace of Play
Great course if you're the first tee time, if not, good luck. You'll be enjoying a 6+ hour golf day on a mediocre course that cost way too much for everything included.
They desperately need to spread out the tee times by 5 minutes just to make it relatively enjoyable.
Played Los Lagos for the first time in a few years. My game wasn’t great but the course still is. It was in very good condition, plush and green. The greens were rolling nicely and the fairways are still wide and fair. The pace is players a little slow but otherwise, a wonderful day of golf.
Overall nice round. Pace of play needs improvement, didn’t see the Marshall out there.
Super slow
Course isn't too bad. Recently punched greens are still super bumpy and slow. Pace of play is the MAJOR ISSUE. 1st par 3, including the group that just teed off, were 4, yes 4 groups on the tee waiting. And this was on a MON MORNING. Just shy of a 6 hour round. Wind factors a lot on most of the holes. Played here 10 years ago, probably wont come back for another 10.
6 hours round
Lets start by saying that the course and the starter gentlemen are great, no complaints but the problem is that no matter what day or time you play you are going to wait on every shot. Our tee time was at 8:15am and we tee off at 8:45am, they over sell tee times. Also the club house crew could be more friendly, they treat you as you were visiting a government facility, take it or leave it attitude.
