Los Lagos at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club

Haven’t played Los Lagos in years so went back to enjoy a day off from work. My goodness… what an epic fail. From the 1st tee we were 15 min late and it was like this the entire round all the way up to the 11th hole in which I simply had to quit. It was brutal even waiting additional 10 minutes after every tee shot. Group behind was getting also getting impatient and hitting into us. First time ever where I was literally falling asleep in my cart between holes $85 for 11 holes that took almost 4 hours. Never coming back.

For a Wednesday @10am super slow pace and put with a group of five. First two holes took and hour and the front nine took 3 and a half hours . Usually the course is always great and not the first time I’ve been with 5 I don’t mind it but the slow play is rough to get in a groove

It was 97 degree and they did not allow to drive the golf cart on the fairway without any reason.

Turn off A/C and work on the Chimera facility inside!!

Great place to play golf ! I played at 4pm , Los Lagos, front 9 was a little slow but overall the pace of play was good , especially considering all the reviews that say it’s really slow . Fairways , tee boxes , and greens are all in great shape . Will be coming back again soon !

I sure hope they make a change to 4 somes only soon and put walkers with walkers and riders with riders stopping the mix?

Mesa Linda course is not hard to play and makes lots of fun. Especially best course for the senior players. Everything is excelerant.

I strongly recommend this coursd for all golfer.

So refreshing to play a well kept course with great fairways and greens that are consistent.

Really nice putting and chipping practice areas.

Looking forward to play their second course on site.

Course was perfectly ready to play, pace of play was very satified and all the green and fairway was great condition. thanks for the perfect management ,

Absolutely sucked. 6 hrs 30 minutes to complete 18 holes. Tee boxes.we’re backed up 4-5 foursomes per tee. Ridiculous

It’s hard to get past the slow pace of play here. I hadn’t played here in a while due to this very fact, and this only reinforced it. I won’t be coming back.

My son and I enjoyed this course very much. Great for novice to low handicap golfers. Pace of play was great despite being very busy. Easy to walk if you’d like. Nice friendly layout. We would definitely play here again.

Best value best kept courses , if possible use in morning to have fast pace of play .. overall good quality

I did not heed the reviews, believe them, the course was too slow. Every hole was back up with 3 groups on every tee. We couldn’t endure it any longer and drove off after 14 holes. Other than 2-3 holes, the course layout wasn’t challenging at all. For a low handicapper it was worth the time. Price was right though for a decent practice round. Wide fairways were nice and greens were in good condition. But, overall I wouldn’t recommend play there.
