Los Lagos at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club

The course and facilities are nice, but it took us 2.5 hours to finish 4 holes. That’s just unacceptable. We were also delayed 30 min from teeing off due to the back up. Either space out your tee times more, or manage course play.

Fun, long course in beautiful Costa Mesa. Weekends pretty busy so plan on a long round. Once you except this the more you'll love this course.

Did not tee off until 20 minutes past tee time. 3 college teams practicing in front of our foursome. The teams practiced numerous shots many times. The marshal did nothing to speed them up. I had to quit after 9 holes that took 3 hours! I could take naps in between shots. Thanks Costa Mesa for ruining a golf day!

20-30 mins wait between each hole. Does not matter how s@@&$ the wait and conditions. Played 4 holes in 90 mins. Was another 15 mins before tee off.

courses great condition drains really well after the rains but terrible pace of play. We teed off at 10 am It took us 45 minutes to play two holes. We ended up stopping after five hours and we were on the 16th tee box.

GOLF would be a more enjoyable experience. If we just played faster they need to encourage players to play ready golf.

Course & Greens in great condition, considering all the rain we just had. Pace of play to slow, took 5 hours to play on a Monday, played 18th hole in the dark. Need to space out the tee times! Starter, Marshall, Club House Staff were all great.

The rain does not run off well in the fairways. Pace of play was a 5 hour round. Tee off time was 7:40 am

Though we just had a record rain fall last few days, the course was open and our foursome of two couples were very happy to play. There were not many people on the course so pace was not an issue. The course was wet with many shallow puddles but we were able to walk and other couple drove a cart using cart path only.

One of OC’s best value courses, although that means word is out and it is often crowded. Pave of play was slow with up to 4 flights waiting on some par three’s. Very friendly staff and well maintained course, especially the sand in the bunkers which I visited a few times.

T time at 11 to almost 4 hours to play 9 had to quit.

Played the course for the first time in about 20 years. Tee boxes and fairways and event the rough are in excellent condition, greens decent but a little patchy here and there. The layout is deceivingly difficult. It's flat, but the trees come into play and bunkers are tricky.

Here's the issue, depending upon your patience... We had a 10:15am tee time on a Wednesday. The place was packed. Didn't end up teeing off until about 10:45am due to backup on first tee, Overall, the round took about 4:45. Once we started, we had to wait on most tee boxes,. The pace was fairly consistent though, evenly slow on most holes. Just bring the right attitude and you'll be fine.

Definitely walk this course if you can. It's flat and you will probably have to wait on many shots anyway.

For the price, you will not find a course in better shape. It was shocking how nice it was, tee boxes great and fairways were fairly plush. Rough was also in good shape.

Overall... excellent for the price, slow pace, bring positive attitude.

It’s such a shame they can’t figure out 6 hour rounds aren’t acceptable. I saw 5 groups of 5 on los Lagos. I played on a Week day 9 am and didn’t finish til 245. I honestly only stayed just to see what the end time would be. It’s an amazing track with great layout and greens but not worth it. If they implemented a proper spread of tee times I’d love to come back but not in the near future

I always enjoy playing at Costa Mesa. Value for money is exceptional. Greens are always in great condition. And this time fairways and tee boxes were excellent as well. The Mesa Linda course isn’t that long but it is protected by very small and undulating greens. I’d prefer bigger greens and/or friendlier pin positions if I’m being picky but still had a great morning out on the course.
