5 1/2 hour round
Positives:
1. Excellent layout, challenging and fun.
2. Greens are in great shape.
3. Would play again during the week and recommend to friends based upon the layout.
Negatives:
1. 5 1/2 hour round. 6 groups backed up on the 3rd hole alone. Very frustrating. Had to wait on every shot, some of the back up was for 20-30 minutes on holes.
2. Pro Shop attendants had a terrible attitude. The starter was rude, unnecessarily pushy and combative with people. The other attendant was young and acted disinterested.

Busy
Booked a spot for 2 of us and was put into a 5 some ! They said someone missed their time and there were no more open spots. So 4 carts and 5 players for 18 was a little ridiculous. To top it off , we were asked to pick up our pace. I do really like this course but they over book

3 hour front 9
As the title states 3 hour front 9. 2 players in my group left as did a member of the group infront of me.The marshel assured us there were no gaps so either the slowest golfers known to mankind play here or they overbook . Im going with they over book. .regardless if I'm wrong or right this happened to me last month and I am giving Costa mesa a hasta la Vista seeeeeeeyyyyyyyaaaa

Slowest round ever
Over 5 hr round and didn’t even finish, marshals nowhere in sight after stopping in and saying something in the pro shop. Guy working the desk says “we’ll are they behind?” After 9 holes in 3 hrs?! Course isn’t in bad shape for late in the season but staff are useless.

Great Course
Costa Mesa is my home course and I can NOT get enough of it! It is in great shape and the staff is incredible! I play or hit balls here once or twice a week. I will continue to play here the rest of my life! Can’t wait to get back out there next week!
