Great 9-hole
Can’t ask for anything more of a par 3. Definitely will be back
First time. The best hole is gone.
I was really looking forward to hitting the 4th tee with 270+ to the green. Sadly it had been turned into two holes with a very hard makeshift green 118 yards out followed by the other half of the original hole being turned into 120 yard shot to the middle. The 6th hole was under repair. I would have rather played the 4th as one hole and only play 8 holes on the day. The greens for the other holes were in great shape. Beautiful short course. Just bring back #4 please.
Friendly neighborhood golf
Great place to play a quick 9 holes. Well maintained and a friendly staff.
Loved it!
I never played this hidden gem before. It is awesome. way better than Sunken Gardens down the street. Very well taken care of and it wasn't that busy. I got a birdie on 3 which was icing on the cake.
Challenging Greens
This course is fun. It's a fairly small course but the greens are very challenging. The course is great for beginners but it can also be good for Intermediate players. It works your Short game but there are a few long holes. The pase of play can be slow at times but that can be a good thing. Family friendly!
Narrow fairways make for challenging holes
This course is great for testing iron play. Fairways are pretty narrow and tree lined and force you to be pretty straight or end up in the trees. Challenging 9 holes with a couple of drivable par-4 but mostly par-3s. Pace of play is a bit challenging with a number of beginners. The staff doesn't enforce general golf etiquette. I have been stuck behind groups of 5 people sharing golf bags, slowing the pace down. Great value for money so can't complain too much.
Beginner
Golfing less than a year. Went here because I heard it was good for beginning golfers. Man in the shop polite. Weather wasn't the best so just a few golfers there.
Fairways were narrow, but i managed to stay on most of them
Some tough greens for me to approach. Still working on that. I did get my very first Par ever here, no 5, par 3. It was awesome. I had a great time.. will be back
First Par ever
Upon arrival was greeted by the polite gentleman working the shop.
I have only been golfing for less than a year, and currently taking lessons. I am sticking to the 9 hole courses until ready for the big ones. There were only a few people on the course. For me and my ability, everything about the course was perfect.
I made my first par ever on # 5. Tee shot landed in an empty pond on dirt. Figured why not try it. Pitched out of it, landed on green and stopped 3 feet from cup. First put..IN!!.. dohhh.
Great course, will be back
Great place
We play this course almost every Monday. Nice course with a very friendly staff. I highly recomend.
Challenging, good value
For less than $20, Blackberry is super nice. Greens were especially nice this weekend, they played very well. Very narrow fairways and small greens makes the course challenging, but it's a great place to home in on your accuracy.
good for practicing/improving the short game
We like the course location and access. Lay out is tight so makes you focus on accuracy of the shots.
Good beginner course
Most people playing are beginners. Lots of trees with narrow fairways make for challenging conditions. Pace of play is inconsistent depending on who is in front of you. No water hazards and minimal sand traps. Good place to learn to hit straight.
