Black Creek Golf Club
About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

good time
Some greens need some work as well as some tee boxs also. The group I play with we all like to help support their course as they were hit hard a year ago. I enjoy playing their course
Enjoyed the day
The fairways were excellent. The sand traps were well maintained. The one issues that was with the course was the greens. Many of the greens were sanded and missing full grass..
Need to fix the clubhouse
After the worst hurricane to hit our area in years, you would think that insurance company would rush to help out the local businesses. This is so sad we love this course and we hope to get our clube house back.
Black Creek coarse condition
Greens were ok, but had some poana grass growing in the greens. Fairways were decent but were very dry and definitely needed watering. Staff was very friendly but still no clubhouse. Will be nice when they get clubhouse finished so as to eat and have a drink when finished playing.
Kind of a hidden little secret for us from Savannah. everyone seems to love playing this course. Easy drive up 16. Really good value.
Fun at Back Creek
Enjoyed playing 18 holes of golf. Course was in good shape. Greens were decent. Overall, a very good experience.

Hidden gem in the area
This course was destroyed by a tornado in the recent past. I learned of it through the news to be honest and have waited to play. The work they’ve put in has really paid off. I played it for the first time about a week ago and have been back almost everyday since. You can’t beat it for the price. It’s coming along well. The staff is extremely friendly. Just watch out for the wildlife on the back 9!
Black Creek Golf
I like the links feel of the front nine and the greens were a nice medium speed. Still lots of work to do as a result of tornado but that is mostly aesthetic and does not affect playability. Lots of hard pan areas on some holes and the fairway turf is very thin. Course appears well maintained.
A favorite of mine
The people that work here are the best around. Always courteous and no waiting.
The course has always been one of my favorite to play.
The course and pro shop suffered a tornado last year and sustained a lot of damage. Crews have brought the course back to decent playability and hopefully, they will have the restaurant up and running again soon.
The greens and fairways have had a lot of rain lately coupled with cold temperatures and they still play well.
I look forward to playing there soon.
Really enjoyed round though course is in recovery from severe wind damage.
support the course
I always enjoy playing at there course to support their efforts to rebuild their clubhouse.! They have several greens that were in poor shape, but it didn't stop us from having a great time. I will continue to bring friends to their course
