Black Creek Golf Club
About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Fun at Back Creek
Enjoyed playing 18 holes of golf. Course was in good shape. Greens were decent. Overall, a very good experience.

Hidden gem in the area
This course was destroyed by a tornado in the recent past. I learned of it through the news to be honest and have waited to play. The work they’ve put in has really paid off. I played it for the first time about a week ago and have been back almost everyday since. You can’t beat it for the price. It’s coming along well. The staff is extremely friendly. Just watch out for the wildlife on the back 9!
Black Creek Golf
I like the links feel of the front nine and the greens were a nice medium speed. Still lots of work to do as a result of tornado but that is mostly aesthetic and does not affect playability. Lots of hard pan areas on some holes and the fairway turf is very thin. Course appears well maintained.
A favorite of mine
The people that work here are the best around. Always courteous and no waiting.
The course has always been one of my favorite to play.
The course and pro shop suffered a tornado last year and sustained a lot of damage. Crews have brought the course back to decent playability and hopefully, they will have the restaurant up and running again soon.
The greens and fairways have had a lot of rain lately coupled with cold temperatures and they still play well.
I look forward to playing there soon.
Really enjoyed round though course is in recovery from severe wind damage.
support the course
I always enjoy playing at there course to support their efforts to rebuild their clubhouse.! They have several greens that were in poor shape, but it didn't stop us from having a great time. I will continue to bring friends to their course
Hurricane Did Not Blow Away Value
It’s been a year since a hurricane severely damned this course. The club house is still being rebuilt but the course itself is in pretty good shape for winter ball. Debris is still there in spots but not in play. The trees lost have given the course a more open feeling.
For the price, this is a very good value and still a fun course to play.
Fun Course Fun Layout
Friendly Staff. Course well maintained. Greens roll good and are consistent
Great course
This course is a great time. It stood against a tornado a few months ago and the cart paths are quite ruined. Very bumpy. But the rolling hills and the NOW vast openness of the course is quite lovely. Hopefully the clubhouse will get fixed soon (not at the fault of the owner at all). It has become my new favorite course!
Work in progress
They still have a way to to get back to what it use to be, but giving our support is on a lot of players minds when selecting a place to play. As for me my group we will continue playing at Black Creek
