Black Creek Golf Club
About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Awesome work rebuilding
Played solo by myself which was awesome the Joann got me a tee time mid morning to work on some newly bought clubs.
First off, MAD RESPECT for the owner of this course not throwing in the towel after such devastation came through and tore more then half this course up, almost anybody would have put a for sale sign up and called it quits after facing this hardship this course owner did not!
If you scroll down to Airharts review it says “wouldn’t pay more then 30$” and to that I say sir I live on the 15th fairway of another local Savannah course and it’s the same price as BC and it’s in worse condition and it wasn’t hit by a tornado. Cmon man these people are trying so hard to get this course back on it’s feet after hundreds of trees were downed as well as the cart shed, clubhouse and restaurant are gone and their doing a great job keeping it open. Consider the extra 10$ a contribution if you must to keep a course open in an area that’s next to impossible to get tee times because of how many people golf here.
Is the course perfect and pristine no it’s not but it’s still very playable, any golfer can see when you lose every tree that divided fairways for years it causes a huge problem distinguishing between fairways and the owner did just that by building a huge berm between the first fairway and the fairway behind it.
The fairways were good, the greens real nice and if any complaints it would be the sand traps but that’s every course.
I’m excited because now all the trees are gone it gives the owner options to change the holes that were damaged, could we see a new front nine in the future. Please, please, support this course, FEMA gave them no help so locals should dig in and keep this course alive.
It will take time and people need to understand just how bad this course was, after I left I drove through the subdivision behind it and it’s so sad, foundations only left, some houses still marked for FEMA to look at but they got no help.
Hats off again to the owner and the staff y’all are kicking some serious butt and some of us appreciate what you’ve been through and are doing.

After a devastating disaster to the course and clubhouse, they've made a come back. This course and ownership deserves a high mark for how good it is after a short time of rebuilding the greens and fairways. The course is challenging to any level of player.
Staff is professional and are there to make your experience a good one. Can't wait till the new clubhouse is built. I know it'll be worth the wait.
No
I wouldn’t pay more than $30 to play here for it to be worth it
nearly great golf course
well they're back open after a terrible tornado destroyed the clubhouse and several of the front nine holes. many, many trees were felled and now removed. ponds added and some moved. anyway, considering how bad the tornado made things, they have done a marvelous job redo-ing the course and it was great fun to see their changes. fairways were great, greens were very good with just a few bad spots. cold water on 3 and 11 was appreciated. certainly recommend and i' look forward to returning.
doing thier best
plesae remember that this course was hit by a tornado in spring they are doing thier best to get it back to mormal. the greens are in excellent shape, and the golf course is a fun track but i also want to be fair to the golfer. if you can get a good price then i think we should support them but i would not pay over $40 right now. hpwever your options are limited in that area anyway.
Happy it’s back open!
Glad it’s back open again but with any course that’s been devastated by tornados, it’s going to take time to get to 100%.
It’s definitely worth playing if your looking for something different and you can tell the work that’s put in to get back open because the devastation can be still be seen surrounding the course.
That being said the course it’s self is fun to play with most greens playing fast and challenging. The course is still improving and will continue to get better.
The staff is top notch, knowledgeable and seem to truly enjoy their job.
Course is wide open but if you don’t hit the fairway ur in trouble. The rough is so long you will have trouble finding ur ball. Greens and fairways are in great condition
support the course
with the tornado wiping out a lot of trees that separated several holes, it was good to play their again,! We wanted to show our support thru these hard times. There clubhouse was a total loss and along with there great the Grill food. I will come back again and continue our support in hopes they can open another clubhouse and grill
We had a great time and liked the challenge that made the several holes different
Great country course
This is a wonderful place to play. The price is just right and the layout is fun. There are a couple of greens that need attention, but they are going to be restored soon.
Good Savannah area course
A couple of the greens and fairways need some work. Overall a good course for the money.
Some of the greens do need alot of TLC. There are some that have bare spots on the greens..your trying to sink the bird..and the ball hops skips and jumps over those bare spots.
