Overbooked again

We played for over 4 hours and only got through 13 holes. They overbooked the course yet again. I won’t be back.

Nice course for the money

Ive been playing at crosswinds for a few years. Over the last 2-3 it has really improved, for a public course, & the price, its hard to beat it. They have really improved the greens, tee boxes & the overall feel of the course.

The course has some nice wide open fairways where you can let her rip, but there are also several with obstacles that you have to decide how to play.

Is this Augusta national? No, would I pay $150 for this course, no, BUT, for under $75 I don't think there is a better deal in Savannah.

I do with their clubhouse had better offerings, their food options are limited, last time I was there it was closed, sometimes you can just get a sandwich, i think it really just depends on the day.

Decent

The course is in decent shape but it's overpriced for what it is. The layout is okay, but not really challenging. Pace of play is always slow, usually stacked up on the tee boxes. I'll play it occasionally as a last option

Unable to finish

Im disgusted, pace of place sooo Slow, we only managed to complete 13 holes before darkness was setting in no marshall to infore pace of play, and our tee time was 12,30, we even skipped 3 holes, we called vlub house twice still no marshall, we went in pro shop after, they said its tough luck, they had a tournament, and they had priority, and we had booked 4 days earlier if they knew they eere overbooked why yale our booking, they told us because we had booked with Golf Now, it was tough luck slso like we were treated with less quality. Wow this course is famous for overbooking and 5/6 hour rounds.

Best semi-private course in the Savannah area!

Despite all the rain, and while there were a few really wet spots, didn't take away from the all the good points. The greens were amazing and rolled perfectly. The rough.. well, I did lose a few balls that I know were in the right off the fairway as the rough just seemed to swallow up any balls, but that's my fault and should have stayed in the middle! My ONLY complaint is that there was a group of 3 in front of us (foursome) who was playing EXTREMELY slow from #1 on and there wasn't a ranger out there to speed them up. Finally, after around #11-12, they picked it up and we rarely waited anymore. I loved it so much, I even did an 18 hole replay!! Such friendly staff and a wonderful experience!

Great Value

Played this course for the first time in addition to my first time in the region. Was very impressed with course conditions, despite the tremendous amount of rain in the days prior which made play very wet and soggy. Otherwise, the course was in great condition greens rolled smooth and I’ll definitely play again.

Course was in very good shape. Single, didn't know who I'd be paired with but the other 3 guys were good partners. Day was perfect...everything good!

Good value

The course was in good shape. Wide fairways and some challenging looking greens. Unfortunately I tweaked a prior injury on the first hole so I didn’t really get to play it at all.
