About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Fun course to play
I have played this course numerous times and it is in very good shape. Some of the greens are sneaky with the breaks they have. Not a long course but if you get greedy it can cost you on some of the short par 4's.
---My only complaint would be to please keep the water coolers filled with water. It was 92 degrees Monday.
disappointed
I knew that play that day would be slow as it was a holiday, but what I experienced was nothing short of terrible. The first problem was that they did not have a ranger out on the course, which allowed people to do what they wanted! We encountered 2 groups of 6 players and they would not allowed others to go ahead, plus I witnessed two of the 4 golf carts two feet from the green and one guys hit a ball off of the green (full swing) taking a divot. It was so frustrating and ruined my experience for that day! We reported this at the clubhouse and nothing was done.
I enjoy playing this course and this was a single incident due to playing on a holiday, but my advice in the future is to not play this course on a Holiday

Course conditions
Course had received a lot of rain but wasn't that bad. Looks like they are improving their greens with exception of two greens. Course was wide open which allowed us to play without waiting for golfers in front of us. We had an enjoyable day and golfers that want to play fast this is the course for you
Great day at Black Creek Golf Course
The owners have made great improvements with new tee boxes which have lengthened the course. Greens were in good shape.
Course needs repair
Front nine was closed for green repair. Back nine greens were just as bad. No warning for online users.
Greens need work
Course layout is good. Fairways and tees were good. Greens had mold or fungus that was ruining about half of them. The other half of the greens were still kinda iffy. If the greens were resodded in the down season, it would be worth it. Nice neighborhood. 20 min drive from Savannah
Greens were a little bumpy and spotty in some areas. Overall decent value for the price
Nice character
It is a fun coarse to play. The greens were not in good shape at all, so that would be the biggest downfall. The fairways and roughs were in decent shape. Cart paths were pretty bad and a little hard to navigate, but I am used to Las Vegas layouts. Good course and nice people.
Nice layout worth playing
Conditions were decent but because of recent rain, the greens had some bad spots. Otherwise, the course played great.
Recent work on the course is going to help tees and greens thrive. I’ve played there many times and it keeps improving.
Enjoyable Course
Good course for the money. And real good restaurant!
