About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Great Layout
The fairways were dried up. Dead grass. If you like tight lye's, this is your course. Bunkers were good. I like playing here, because of the Layout!
Course conditions
Their greens need work, but I was told they are going re-do them this summer. I was glad to hear that because it is a friendly course and good layout. They also need more grass on the fairways. I would tell people give it 5 months and the course will be excellent
Needs TLC
The cart paths were all broken up. Guidance to next hole was confusing. The greens and fairways were all beaten up and unattended. Pretty scenery and very quiet were the only positive things about this place.
Not ready for Prime Time
Georgia ‘country’ golf. Hard as a rock, no grass ready for spring, greens stemp at 7, GolfNow special of $36 even seems overpriced. 4 or 5 holes on the back 9, built into the swamp, have some interest on shot making and give it it’s 130 slope, but the other 14 holes would rate a slope of maybe 105 .... just not much here to call Golf. A nice day out in the country though !!

We enjoyed the day. Like the course. Wish it was closer to home.
Great place!
I’m fairly new to golf, been to a few different courses but this place is by far my favorite, very beginner friendly, first time coming here today along with my 4 year old son, the staff was very nice and helpful. The Shop and restaurant also very nice. Definitely my new favorite course and will be back!
Relaxed play, great conditions, family feel
From the golf shop, to the course conditions, to the layout, this course has it all. It is great for a relaxing round with little stress. Everyone makes you feel right at home. Don’t forget to say hello to Truman when you are in the golf shop!
Improving
Like the improvements they’re making (cutting/trimming trees, restrooms on course). A couple of suggestions though- rake the traps, rope off more greens.
Looking forward to playing here soon.
Great course for the money
Great course friendly people. Course was a lot better than reported by other golfers for the time of year and the weather conditions the week before
Not Ideal
Would have to say the front nine was in horrible condition.The greens weren't bad, but pretty much just a mudbog. Not worth it if your ball is going to get stuck halfway in the ground on most shots.The back nine had a better range of elevation for drainage, but the greens were a bit worse. As well, no employees seemed to have much concern for the pandemic. Would not recommend this course.
Covid free
We were shocked that the golf course and restaurant and all of the patrons that we encountered took no precautions against the Covid-19 virus. Steer clear of this facility until things are safe again.
cool day, winter course conditions
some drainage problems, course is still improving in general. greens were mostly okay, some winter die off areas. rolled a little slow with the overseeding.
Course OK
Course needs some TLC but it is winter time. Last time we played it was a little bit better
