About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Not Ideal
Would have to say the front nine was in horrible condition.The greens weren't bad, but pretty much just a mudbog. Not worth it if your ball is going to get stuck halfway in the ground on most shots.The back nine had a better range of elevation for drainage, but the greens were a bit worse. As well, no employees seemed to have much concern for the pandemic. Would not recommend this course.
Covid free
We were shocked that the golf course and restaurant and all of the patrons that we encountered took no precautions against the Covid-19 virus. Steer clear of this facility until things are safe again.
cool day, winter course conditions
some drainage problems, course is still improving in general. greens were mostly okay, some winter die off areas. rolled a little slow with the overseeding.
Course OK
Course needs some TLC but it is winter time. Last time we played it was a little bit better
Good winter round
Course management doing upgrades, new bunkers, a few new tees. Course in good shape for mid winter and very playable.
Work in progress
course owners and crew are working hard to improve the course, and the practice range.
cutting trees and shaping fairways (14 and 15) and drainage. Cutting trees so greens can get more sun will make for more developed greens.
Food is excellent. It's not Fast Food. It's food you'll enjoy.
They serve full breakfast on the weekends, I look forward to trying that out soon.
Hidden Gem
I always enjoy playing here. It’s a nice course not far from I-16. It’s in great condition, especially for the winter. A couple greens need work but still good for winter and for the price. Looking forward to the next time!
Nice Course
This is a hidden gem in South GA just off I-16 about 30 minutes from Savannah. The clubhouse staff is very friendly and the guys I ran into on the course were very nice. My only complaint is a just a few greens and a couple tee boxes need a little work. However, to be fair, at this time of the year with the cold weather we’ve had recently, I think they are doing pretty well with the course. I will be back soon!
THE COURSE
This course has improved so much over the last year and a half and is getting better all the time. I probably play here at least 4 times a month.
Course in pretty good shape
Played this afternoon. Day started out pretty cold in the upper 30's but by afternoon mid 60's and sunny, Course is in pretty good shape. Although we''ve had some rain, the fairways still have a pretty good roll.
Not too crowded. Good course nearby for us to work on the game.
