About
Black Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole, championship course that is conveniently situated less than an hour from Savannah. The course sprawls across acres of rolling countryside, surrounded by nothing but lush meadows and hills, providing the round with peaceful seclusion. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels and the blue tees are enough of a challenge for more advanced players. The front nine has a wide-open links-style layout that provides an interesting contrast to the back nine, which is characterized by tree-lined, narrow fairways. The greens are large and undulating and sometimes framed with strategically placed bunkers. The golf course winds through scenic coastal marshes and wetlands, which come into play on 13 holes. There is even an island green on Black Creek Golf Club's signature hole, the par-3 15th.

Great day in the sun.
Just two of us and showed up early and when I got their only one group ahead of us and they where a lot better and faster and left us . For the money best deal in town after all discounts used. Greens and tees in good condition. best time of the year for golf!

Fooled by reviews
The 3.9/4 rating on this course is absolutely false. I get how it’s rural Georgia and not march selection but holy goat ranch. The front 9 is NOT terrible but still bad. The back nine is is the worst condition of any course still open. Some greens are like putting through bunkers. The website, Facebook and photos are from YEARS ago. $38 for that course is a shame, with so much traffic, they should be able to prioritize spending. I play on courses based on reviews and this course is fabricated reviews. Has to be. Only positive on the course is every hole gives you a different look. Has plenty of potential but definitely a backwoods course with wrong planning. If you’re planning on spending $40 for a round in this area, head more to Savannah. Will not be back as I pass through this course a dozen times a year.

Pace of play terrible
Playing as single today and I’ve been on the course for almost five hours. Pace of play was absolutely terrible today. Not sure if to many players booked or just bad management. But pace of play was horrible today. Love coming to the course cause it’s close to home and affordable. Today was just not a good day
