Indian Palms Golf & Country Club - Indian/Mountain
About
This course dates back to the 1940s and carries a powerful history. Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy played many a round at Indian Palms, back when it was called Cochran Ranch. Eisenhower loved the place so much, he wrote his memoirs at the ranch.
The Indian nine is the longest, with the most straight-forward holes.
The Mountain nine is probably the toughest of the three, with plenty of hills out on the course and plenty of slope on the greens. The Mountain nine also boasts a rare par-4 island green

Golfer Reviews
Poor condition
Fairways grass very thin, no sand in traps, cart paths not edged, tree trimmings on grounds, greens mostly sanded because of a problem with the grass.
Course in poor condition
Course was in poor condition and not kept up. We would not play again. Not worth the money.
Do not play here
The course it self is in very poor condition, fairways, greens all poor. T boxes in very poor condition, many do not have any markings. All the grounds around the course that course would be responsible for are in such horrible condition they could not be worse. No snack shack, no drunk cart. Do not waste your golf money playing this mess. The only thing good about it is the carts appear to be new.
Indian Course needs some work
Generally good condition although greens on Indian were sandy. Pace of play OK. Staff were great.
Poor Maintenance
Fairways need grass. Green hard as rock and looks like they have a disease. Course is too long for elderly women.
Friendly Staff
The staff were all very friendly and the course was in good condition and fun to play. The pace of play was very slow but I feel that had more to do with the time of year we played, not the golf course itself.
Many areas were overgrown or junky especially around trees so slowed play looking for balls. Greens on Indian were terrible
Greens on Indian course are in terrible condition.
The most expensive practice balls of any course I have played in this area. Who do they think they are?
Not worth it. Play somewhere else. Nicer courses in the valley….
We played the Indian and Royal Courses today. These courses are in the worst condition I have ever seen. The fairways are bare and dry, lumpy and bumpy, rough as heck. No roll on your ball. Sand traps are full of grass and weeds. The greens. I don’t know where to begin. Never have I seen a course with such poor green conditions. It’s like putting on a cow pasture. My overall thoughts. Not worth your time or your money. The Management and Owner of this course should be embarrassed that they have allowed this course to get to this bad. Invest in this course or close the doors already.
Not very recommendable
Golf course in poor condition. There are a few holes that are nice and good - only if you come back to 9 or 18. The rest in between is poor, bunkers are not maintained and so on. You do not pay a lot but ...
Indian palms
Mountain course would be a1 out 5. Greens and fairways pretty bad.
Royal was in much better shape. Probably a 4
