Indian Palms Golf & Country Club - Indian/Mountain
About
This course dates back to the 1940s and carries a powerful history. Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy played many a round at Indian Palms, back when it was called Cochran Ranch. Eisenhower loved the place so much, he wrote his memoirs at the ranch.
The Indian nine is the longest, with the most straight-forward holes.
The Mountain nine is probably the toughest of the three, with plenty of hills out on the course and plenty of slope on the greens. The Mountain nine also boasts a rare par-4 island green

Golfer Reviews
Condition
The course is in poor shape, sand traps were in need of sand. Greens were very hard and very inconsistent.
I booked as a single and they put a foursome in my time slot and I play by myself.
Definitely the last time I play there.
1st time
The first nine I was disappointed but it appears they were going g to close it soon. The2nd nine "Royal" fantastic. I can image when all ate done this Isa fun and challenging course.
Getting better!
The course is in much better shape this time around. New carts too!
Greens poor
The mountain course was really poor, no green grass on the green, it was like putting on cement. The Royal nine was really good, it had been over seeded and the greens had grass so enjoyed that nine. For the price I paid on golf GolfNow it was well worth the money
Christmas Day golf hard to complain
27 hole course opens 2 nine holes and leaves one closed. Inexpensive round on a course past it's prime but still fun. Mountain course played on a different grass that looked mostly dead while Royal course looked more like a real course with green grass.
Neglect and Disrepair
This course has long been a great round on a tight course with fantastic greens. No more. The lack of investment in the course is clearly showing. They have not reseeded the Mountain course, Indian may or may not come in reseeded. The clubhouse is dirty, disorganized, and mostly closed. On a Saturday afternoon, the only beverage available anywhere on the premises was beer. This was in a mini-fridge behind the front desk. Course staff seem frustrated with clients, which might be understandable given what they have to be hearing from players on a daily basis. This is a great (albeit tight) layout with fantastic bones. Until it changes hands, it is probably a "stay away".
Maintenance
Mountain 9 in very poor condition. Royal 9 in average condition
Conditions bad
Mountaincourse in worst condition we’ve ever seen anywhere. No advance warning given about why we were playing it.
Poor course condition
owner not spending any money to keep course in shape. Will never play again. Feel sorry for people that have homes on this terrible course.
Mountain course is not in good condition. Royal course is lush in comparison.
This golf course with 3 different 9 hole courses needs a lot of work. Royal is the only one in good shape.
Beautiful resort with 3 courses to choose from!
I was extremely pleased with the way I was treated by the owner of this resort. I had a very early T time and was offered to play ahead of a larger group of extremely nice members.
I payed for 18holes and was able to play 2 courses. Both were extremely nice and challenging for the price point. Total of 3 9hole courses that are all extremely well kept and challenging courses.
The level of courses they offer for this price is unmatched in my opinion!
new course played
The back nine was in bad shape and the front wasn't much better.
