Indian Palms Golf & Country Club - Indian/Mountain
About
This course dates back to the 1940s and carries a powerful history. Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy played many a round at Indian Palms, back when it was called Cochran Ranch. Eisenhower loved the place so much, he wrote his memoirs at the ranch.
The Indian nine is the longest, with the most straight-forward holes.
The Mountain nine is probably the toughest of the three, with plenty of hills out on the course and plenty of slope on the greens. The Mountain nine also boasts a rare par-4 island green

Cart dying, course needs work, not worth the price to play course.
Save ur $$
This course is in terrible shape right now. Played it a lot last year and for $40 +/- was an OK value and good practice. This year it’s around $60 and at any price is not worth the $$. The fairways still show the scrapes and punches so you have to find grass. The worst was ALL the greens-literally unplayable. They’ve done some type of “checker board” treatment for overseeding or ??? and there are ridges on the edge of each square. Soooooo, hit a putt and watch it bounce or turn every 4” as it hits another ridge. I’ll pay a little more this year out here as everything’s gone up but need some decent Course conditions to enjoy!
Golf
The fairways were in good shape but the greens were reseeded a little bit ago and we’re playing a little rough.
Good layout and location
We are from Seattle and course was worthest condition in my life time. I will never play here again.
Course has some nice features but the upkeep on the fairways and greens are horrible
The upkeep on the fairways the greens all the water features in the landscaping around the course has been let go and the water has been turned off it looks horrible the last time I played in 2017 everything was Lush and green the new owners that have taken over have Let it go into disarray the whole course all 27 holes So sad to see
Sparse fairways and poorly manicured tee boxes
While the greens were overseeded the remainder of the course was in fair to poor condition. There was very little grass on the Mountain course fairways and generally they were in poor condition
Play only as a last resort!
Dog track, need I say more.
Staff was terrible and argumentative absolutely no customer service.
don't waste your money.
Good afternoon treck
Good solid course. Really nice layout. Very enjoyable to play. Greens were in bad shape but putted pretty true. They will be better and I will be back. Good play for the money.
Poorly Managed
The course itself is just OK and after a while all the holes feel the same. But the management does seem to have a clue. I waited 20mins while the desk guy ran around looking for range balls to give me which werr eventually handed to me in a plastic bag. By that time we didn't have time to use them. After the front 9, we stopped in to pick up a sandwich and drink but werr told nothing is premade and it would take at least 15mins. I mean come on! What is so difficult about have range balls AT THE RANGE or food PREPARED IN ADVANCE? It is a mess.
This is one course I will not play again. Pace of play very SLOW, Golf carts in very poor condition and the batteries lost power before we completed the front nine!! Course definitely needs some T.L.C.
Course needs work play very slow midweek
Our first time here. The fairways are not in great shape and many are narrow. The ball will roll because the fairway grass is 50% dormant and you often need to move your ball for a decent lie to some grass. Greens on the mountain course were in very good shape but the Royale greens very poor (pitted) on last 4 holes. Play was extremely slow on the back nine (Royale) 3 hours for final 9 holes. Great pace on first nine. No referee making play speed up. We finished after sunset (started at 12:30). We had 8 carts pass us on the last hole because they gave up for the dark (5:15p).
This course has a lot of potential (fairly tight, home bound and mostly straight) but is not kept up like other courses in its price range. There are lots of Golfnow good deals to entice you in and paying full fair is not a great deal.
Overall
Tee time of 12;:00. Did not get off till 12:30. Starter was less than informative. Too busy joking with members. Course overall was good. Fairways a bit thin
