Lockeford Springs Golf Course

Greens are very slow so you feel like you have to smash the ball, but overall a good course and I will definitely play it again when I travel through the area.

Enjoyed playing there after not playing there in several years. Foursome ahead was brutally slow, but left after nine holes.

Have played this course several times over the years. Course condition/maintenance varies throughout the year. Greens are typically slow. Course can get very dry at times. I'm a high hndcp and find this course challenging but great layout and great value. Play tends to be slow but not painfully so..

don,t get me wrong , this course is great but for us old guys 546 and 526 par 5 ,and 455,470 par 4 not old guy friendly.at sixty seven from white tees.unless hitting seven and 8 scores a hole.but real nice

1st thing was that there was no carts charged. Had to wait till 1pm with a 12:22 tee time. Had to change out cart at the turn. Play was very slow. Had to wait at every tee box. Could not get any kind of consistant stroke going because you had to wait for every hit. 5 1/2 hrs. to play round. Greens were mowed strange but rest of course was in really good shape.

Overall the course was good considering the effect of heavy winter rain being noticeable with the amount of vegetation overgrowth in the fairway and rough. The greens were nice and smooth, true.

We came down from the mountains, where we can't play all winter; have driven by this course many times & not stopped. Checked rates on GN & had to give it a try! Weather all over CA has been really wet & John called back as soon as they got my T-time to say cart path only, etc. Thought we'd be walking a lot, but they had set up alternate cart paths & (for conditions - muddy) it was very convenient. Fun course; played long in the humidity - some long par 4's. Very friendly staff & players. It runs between vineyards & orchards. Nice

We escaped the rain played in 3 hours course was in pretty good shape staff is always friendly and accomodating

Course is setup too long for white tee boxes at over 62oo yards. Par 4's are too long to reach in regulation.

Sunny day in November made this golf day more enjoyable at Lockeford Springs Golf course. The greens were in the best condition I have seen in a long time! Thanks to our recent rains. If you like to "bomb" your drives; this is the course to do it with wide fairways! Best bargain around using "Golf Now"!

One of the chief complaints about golf is the expense, therefore, I was discouraged to find that we were not allowed to bring food and beverages onto the course. Easing up on this restriction would be easier on the wallet, thus, guaranteeing a definite return to the course.

Fun to play with good quality greens.

It's a fun course, fair price and easy to find.. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes golfing
