Most Recent St. Marlo Round with AR

Overall, a good venue. The first 6 holes or so that pace of play was good. The course conditions were also good. However, we started getting slowed down by the groups in front. Too bad, the round was going well.

Better than Ever

For many years, St. Marlo was a permanent fixture in my golf course rotation. After several disappointing rounds, where I was dissatisfied with the course conditions and slow play, I stopped playing it and it fell out if my rotation.

After my last round, I can say St. Marlo is back and better than I remembered it. I don’t ever remember the course brining in better shape. Greens were excellent and in great condition.

I can say I can’t wait to play it again.

Bad Sand

Sand traps were in terrible condition; some were unplayable. Otherwise, course is in pretty good shape; greens were slow.

Not a 85.00 course/weekday/110 weekend Course

Great layout. Bunkers need work and greens are in bad shape. divots everywhere. 60 dollars is fair.

Good track

The more I play St. Marlo, the better I like it. The 9th hole sucks but the other 17 are good holes. We played through the foursome in front of us on the first par 3. That saved us from a painful day playing at 4:15. Cart path only sucked but I get it, lots of rain lately.

Okay course, not worth it

Course is okay at best, should be half the price it is. Half played much nicer public courses in the area. But the main thing is the round took 6 hours to play, never saw a Marshall once. Waited 10-15 minutes on each tee box

Very good course

Course was very good and really liked the layout. Grounds crew does need to learn to pay attention and not interrupt the golfers when they are in the middle of their swing.
