Get out there early
If you want to breeze through this course get out there early because it can get packed up quick. 9 hole round took me less than a hour and half to through. Fairways were a bit muddy in some areas, greens were nice.

Pace of play
too long time wait evey hole...finished 18hole more than 5hour and 10min....
Marshall need to work for keeping pace of slower players

I WAS WAITING FOR 40 MINUTES TO REPLACE CHARGED CART.
The golf cart's battery was dead at 6th holes.
I was called 3 times and I was waiting for 40 minutes for the staff to brought the golf cart.

Once upon a time this course was friendly and well maitanade
All you staff are ridiculous, feels like. Gangters needing money for everything. Need cart ? We dont have. Bery unfriendly. Montebello was one of my favorate Colf Course. Was Well Amazing Staff. Where are they.?
Maybe Montebello need to fire everyone on the course and re hire New Manageament Person

Didn’t finish
Teed off at 12:30pm ish. We didn’t finish. Took just under 3 hours for first 9, and there was just no way. Got to see the last hole in the last bit of light. What a total joke. The 3 groups ahead of us had no business being on the course yet but they HAD to play from the blue tees just because their egos, right? Total beginners need to be told to learn to hit it straight and keep pace and/or pick up after 10 strokes, period. This is becoming an absolute travesty of a joke for the industry. Good long time golfers everywhere who respect the game and play by the rules are totally frustrated that we have to deal with these things on a daily basis now. Somebody at the head of the industry have to step up and speak up about how this is going to end up the same train wreck it was when golf lost all those players and courses had to close. Doesn’t matter if the pandemic helped to introduce new golfers to the outdoors game that is golf - there aren’t enough courses to spread these beginners out to the more basic, short ones where they should be learning and being taught the rules and etiquette.
The course is a shambles, they just don’t care, clearly the City doesn’t care, the city managers as recreation department managers must be clowns to take money off people for these horrendous conditions, it’s inconceivable that they can’t put sand in these bunkers, to do something about them. Nah - they’ll just take your money while they plan a heist to remove this course and build more houses on it so that they can line their own pockets.
So totally depressing. What a waste of time that was.

Club house
Disappointing the club house - indoor lunch area was closed. Outdoor dinning only. I enjoy sitting at the bar after a round.
Otherwise course and greens are in great shape!
Enjoy A Round
Very friendly staff. Fairways in good condition, greens well maintained. Trees being trimmed that day, maintenance workers were cordial while at the tee box. Good pace, good folks in my group. Really enjoyed a round of golf yesterday. I’ll be back!

Spacious fairway
The fairways are very forgiving. Very nice course.
Fairway condition was bad
Fairway condition was bad, only half with grass and the other half was bare land. We even agreed to move balls to use fairway woods or irons.

Nice course
I can start a 9hole by 7am and can be done and working most times by 9am. I’m about 10min away and do this often. Good pace and course. I also play alone often & so far have run into respectful friendly players. I recommend this course.
