The Vineyard at Escondido

No beverage cart on a hot day. I person at the bar working. Causing a back up. Staff member changing out a water cooler would not allow me to get water from the old one was told to go to the clubhouse.

Greens are very healthy but pretty slow.

Bunkers are BAD - most like dirt like you can hurt yourself and other ok but not great! Had 3 different twosome on us every hole. One played thru, one ended after 9 like it was there 27th holes and another played thru as they were always hitting and putting at same time like they had already played a round before?

Bring your rangefinder as carts have no gps.

I played like crap but enjoyed my playing partner’s and the course!!!!!!

The Vineyards seems to be struggling with the summer’s heat. Tee boxes were fair; fairways generally in good shape; rough was cut and playable; sand traps were thoroughly inconsistent (bare or crusty or wet or reasonable); greens were soft, but Oh so slow. Ponds were very green with algae. Pace was Ok (though older player acquaintances were very slow). Value with Hot Deal was fair.

Greenside bunkers need attention... (little or no sand, hardback dirt ar best)

This place is not in bad shape but has no sand in bunkers LOVE the Trackman on the range and good food

I enjoyed playing this course except for the somewhat slow pace of play. Had to wait at most of the holes. The greens were in very good shape for a public course. It definitely has some challenging holes. Overall lots of fun.

The only thing bad about this course is the sand traps .

The condition of the greens are fairways were good. However, for 80 dollars you would expect bunkers with dirt not concrete. Bunker were hard with rock the scracthed the bottom of the clubs. Some bunkers had grass growing in them. Totally unexceltable for any 80 dollar golf course.
