The Vineyard at Escondido

I used to play this course often but have not been there in a couple of years It is a good layout but needs help the fairway's are just ok the bunkers need some sand the greens wont hold anything.

But they have installed Trackman or something similar not sure which one cause the only open mats did not have them installed.

If you can get out there for 50-60 I guess it;s not so bad but not worth anything more

For the money this was a fantastic deal. Pace of play was good. Tee boxes a little rough. Some burned out spots on fringes of greens. Very straight course. Some hills. Overall had a great afternoon. Nice staff.

Course is in excellent shape, sand in bunkers, staff very nice, greens good, Good french fries.

After a wet week in the area no surprise to see soggy conditions and cart path only was to be expected. What was surprising is how the tee boxes were torn up with divots making it very difficult to get a level stance and lie. I could understand the par 3 tee boxes being that way, but this was noteworthy throughout the course.

It’s a great facility (practice areas and clubhouse) with nice views, but the wet winter has taken a toll on course conditions.

I am a 6 handicap, fairways are in very bad conditions, greens are good. The lay out is fair. Playing from the blue tee is ok. We quit at the 15th hole because the pace was horrible 4:30 hours and still 3 hole to go and was pretty cold.

Provably playing during the week the pace is better but any way the fairways are in very bad condition.

I am not coming back.

Cart path only today...Bunkers need attention tion, as always.

Can't beat the price with Golfnow/Golfpass!

Got 9 holes in for twilight pay. The pay play was great and it was good value for the money.

We booked a time that a 4-4.5 hour round would have been possible at 5 hours we were on 16th tee and it got to dark to finish. It was disappointing to say the least. The course was fun and challenging, the staff was friendly and patient but the over 5 hour pace of play has got to go.

Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, highly recommend this course to anyone interested in playing a good round of 18. There were a few maintenance things that I would recommend be taking a look at all along some of the fairways, but overall great experience.

Apparently, they decided to close the bar at 3 pm on Jan 1 while many golfers were still playing. Hard to get a beer after the round. The bartender was not very pleasant. Seemed like he wanted to be elsewhere.

We teed off at 1pm, paid for 18 holes. Play was so slow barely got in 9 before dark. They seemed to be overbooked.
