The Vineyard at Escondido

This is typically a slow course.. Unfortunately the grammar are diseased.

Got a great rate but hadn't planned on putting on a pinball surface . Putts would hold the line due to recent maintenance...the rest of the course was great.

With rounds up during covid and the price of this course, it should be in much better condition. It’s gone downhill.

I was very disappointed with the condition of the fairways and greens. The grass in the fairways is getting worse every year. I was not notified that the greens were punched. I usually get notified when I book the tee time and the course usually charges less when this happens.

Course was a good shape given recent rain storm. Only major issue was greens were recently punched which made it impossible to putt. Definitely a player friendly course for all skills.

I really enjoyed playing this course, the conditions are pretty good but for the cost I would say it's a fantastic deal.

I haven’t played this course in a while, the course was well kept and in good shape for the time of year. My tee time was at 6:40am and I get there right around 6am to warm up and they tell me the range doesn’t open until 630. That was disappointing as if you have early tee times you should have your range open. Other than that it was not to bad of a day.

Today was hot and dry so the course was playing super firm. 60 yard roll outs and high first bounces on the fairways. Greens were hard to get spin on and we’re also super firm but that was due to weather. Course is fun and gettable but could use some water and seed in some spots. Staff was A+ I’ll be back for sure

Every time I play this course I’m reminded why I rarely come back. Good conditions and a cool lay out but the customer service is so bad. Every time I go there the employees make me and my group feel so unwelcome . I’ve never written a review before but had to say something , it’s very disappointing every time.

Good course always in good condition but the service is always so bad here. I’ve been playing for four years and have never written a review about any course. But every time I try to play here the employees are always so rude to us. I live in Escondido and the course has good deals but I rarely go because I always feel unwelcome , very disappointing!

Greens are in really nice shape!!! Love this course

The only redeeming thing about this course is the condition of the greens.

Fairways were trash, no decent turf, clumpy variety of different grass (where there was grass), no rough,.

This used to be one of my ‘go to’ courses when visiting family here, but the obvious lack of caring of ownership about course condition, I won’t be back.
