Fairways in poor conditions
I would classify this course a Mother Nature course
Without rain course condition is horrible. Fairways are brown, dead grass, and what water is applied leaves hard bare mud areas. Dirt sand traps that collect and hold water from sprinklers. Over priced course for condition of course. Maybe next year if course gets help from Mother Nature.
Very poor condition!
Fairways are covered with dead grass everywhere. We're they use sprinklers there is little to no grass and muddy. Maybe next year if mother nature brings rain to this course.
Good value for the money, poor conditions
Value is good for the price. Don't expect a golf course with great conditions. Very dried out. Greens are green but very bumpy. No sand in sand traps. Range balls completely worn out. Staff were nice. Pace of play was good. Senior discount was great. Even my wife said we will not come back.
Yikes. Course conditions.
Haven't played the Vineyard in a couple of years and was surprised at what bad shape the fairways and bunkers were in. Early hole bunkers had ZERO sand and were hard as a rock. Flew the green twice and that never happens for me. Fairways were often hard as a rock; a divot was an impossibility. I understand water is expensive but I won't play here again for a long time.
Sand Traps
Played 12/27/24- The Pro Shop and Starter were super nice and accommodating. But, the kid in the cart barn almost hit me as I was leaving and looked obviously like he didn’t care for his job.
The sand traps and lack of a Marshall to keep the pace up were the only negative. The guys in front of us were so bad and at least two holes behind.
The sand traps were so wet that they had zero sand and all hardpan.
This is a great value and the staff was really cool. I will definitely be back!
Had a great fast time
Course was in great condition and I was able to be first off an play 18 in under 2.5 hours. Not a long course but a fun one!
Great values.
Course in good shape. Great price. Just need some Yardage markers.
Relaxing
Great track with decent views on the back 9. Pace of play could be better but it’s great if you’re playing a relaxing round.
Great value
This course has great value, paid $24 with cart included. Full sized course, 7000ish yards if I’m not mistaken. Some dead parts of the grass but overall very green.
Great place to hone your round in, and some views!
Front nine is target golf with some risk reward holes for the driver if you’re willing to back up the course. Course design on the front 9 has never been conducive of a quick pace. Back 9, however, is still amazing. Cool holes and some killer views! Sunsets here are special.
