Decent course. Nice layout. Need to put a few more dollars into the course. Greens were not consistent at all! I like the location of the course and the staff.

Lots of water too hot you’re balls into. My only issue is there is no drinking water on the course. On a hot day, bring a lot of drinks to keep yourself hydrated. The greens are in great shape for the $50 fees. I had a lot of fun. The tee boxes and fairways are concrete hard. Recommended.

Decided to try to give this course another shot after poor customer service could only play the front nine twice which was OK due to the fact they had a men’s league plan on the back. Mine was just myself and my son who’s four years old pretty quickly got to the Front nine again had some other people in front of us playing pretty slow didn’t get finished till after eight some gentlemen by the name of Mr. Coleman put his bag in my cart. Basically didn’t really give me much time to make sure I had all my items removed from the cart, then proceeded to ask me who this gentleman was I have to ask him first told him I would not be coming back and he said he didn’t want me back not maintained. It was geese pooping all over one grain we had to skip a hole Not worth the money nor the hassle

Tee boxes are practically sand traps. Fairways aren’t much better. Greens appeared to have undergone recent repairs. They have no food ant the club house. Overall not worth it.

Greens need to be cut. The tee box ground is like concrete

I enjoy playing at Lake Spivey. It is a challenging course for a golf player like me.

I’ve played this course 100 times. Yesterday we played. Spent $45 for greens fees, $15 for cigars, $30 for some cold refreshments, lol…and they wouldn’t walk into the kitchen to give us ice. It was 98 degrees yesterday. Some manager…Mr. L_V_ needs to humble himself and quit acting like he’s managing Augusta National! Some self- awareness would be refreshing to see. Needless to say, last time I’ll be there. Too many other options close by.

The greens were... green but shaggy. The fairways were hard and fast. Unfortunately, they seem to be really thirsty. More burnt out than not. Crab grass is prevalent throughout, but especially around the greens. As everyone else stated, the tee boxes are 50% covered with grass at best. Uneven. Rock hard.

In the mid-2010s this course was in much better shape. The updated clubhouse is nice, but the course needs some attention.

I love this golf course. It has a nice layout, some challenging holes and is in pretty good shape. The greens are in the best shape ever. They look great, feel great, but just a bit slower than most greens in the area. The only area that can use a lot of work is the tee boxes. Tee boxes are in terrible shape. Most are bare and extremely hard. If they make some drastic improvements on the condition of the greens, this course will be in top shape. Still worth playing today. I plan to return soon.

Overall great course only negative is the tee boxes are like rock get the tee boxes fixed and it could be a 4plus star course

Course is fun but tough at times. Tee boxes could use some work but one of the better greens I’ve seen around Atlanta. Second time I’ve been here in a month. I enjoy it and will be back for sure.

This course is great! Staff was extremely friendly, nicest in the atlanta area!! Great value, course is kept up nice. Recommend all day!
