College Park Municipal Golf Course

Was recommended this course by family and friends to play. Upon arrival to the first tee box, one of the so called marshalls would not let us proceed stating me and or my partner needed to rent a bag of clubs even tho we already brought our own set to play with. Treated us with very little care and no explanation as to why we needed to rent a bag and MORE clubs. Decided to go inside and tell the clubhouse attendant what was communicated to me, to which she gave me an empty bag TO PUT MY CLUBS IN, as the marshall intended. I get back to the tee box and he goes on a power trip, yelling and disturbing the peace of the course and many other golfers because he wanted ms to pay more money to rent clubs, i already brought. The marshall stormed off into the clubhouse, continuously yelling that we could rent or go elsewhere. All while another marshall approached us to communicate what the initial marshall had failed to do. As he is telling us we can still play, we just need an empty bag, the same one the initial marshall just took inside, the original marshall comes out the clubhouse yelling “yall can play somehwere else” to which me and my partner proceeded to do.

The behavior was very unprofessional and i hope other golfers do not get the experience i had. Very poor service for someome new to the course. I hope this changes for others, but i will never spend another dollar here. Very unnacceptable character displayed from someone WANTING you to spend more money. Not the time or money to play here.

Overall good course! Greens were good. Ball rolled good. Some greens were really soft but it had rained a few days earlier pretty bad but other than good beginners course to play. Will be visiting again very soon.

Been playing here for over 20 years the staff has done an incredible job of keeping the grounds in the condition they are in. Remember this is a public city course so don't compare it to a private club in a wealthy neighborhood. Rather accept it for what it and that's been a consistently competitive golf course for a good value.

For the money you can’t beat college park. It’s always a little slow but it’s cheap and in decent shape. I love playing here when I want to get a round in before work.

Got invited to play private that morning, but the weather canceled it due to lightning and possible flooding. So you know golfers gotta scratch that itch , so I pivoted looking for a quick 9 and found this course. Great pace of play , plenty of shaded areas to block the GA sun, smooth check in process and great prices. Definitely gained a new customer for future stops in Atlanta.

Having passed this course at least 50 times going to and from the airport, I'm kicking myself for not having played this course sooner.

While having reasonable expectations is key, for the price point, it can't be beat! Nice layout for a 9 hole course, and the fairways and greens were in great condition for the most part. Staff was friendly, and I got around in an hour and 45 min on a Friday.

After playing it once, I will be playing it regularly, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Fast pace of play , challenging holes and can be done in under 2 hours. Super friendly staff !
