Play here all the time. This is the best the greens have been in over a year. Course was in great shape.

Course is really nice right now. Greens have grown in nice, a little slow, but very true. The fairways were cut and looked good. They have improved in the past 4-5 months!

Course has a terrific layout! Greens were quite thick (hairy) and fairways are decent. Nice course !

I don’t think the tee boxes here have been mowed in 2 months. If you manage to find a patch of grass in the fairway for an approach shot, you’re doing great. Usually when greens are punched, they backfill with sand to level out. Not here. The irrigation system was on one of the greens while playing (had just rained). Idk what is going on with this place and honestly don’t care. Never coming back to this dump.

The aerated greens were the downfall. Layout was nice, course was nice, I was even playing with rented clubs. But the green were trash. Aerate on 9 holes at a time so the course is not a total loss of playability.

Greens and fairways mediocre. Great layout, but greens keeping needs improvement

The greens were being aerated. So, you had no true roll on the greens. Once the aeration is done I would recommend the course.

I use to play this course 4 times a month several years back and it was one of the best around. The last couple of years I have been disappointed. Last week I felt like I was let down to an all time low for Lake Spivey. The fairways were like a pasture and the tee boxes hardly had grass on them and the Greens were the worst. They had been punched but they have been neglected way too long. Will not be back. A chapter of my life is officially closed!! 🥲

I really enjoyed the layout both front and back nine.

The front had more doglegs and blind tee shots, the back nine winding through the neighborhoods was nice.

Here is my 1 MAJOR suggestions, Aerate only 1/2 the course at a time. You don’t want the entire round to be frustrating for your golfers. Putting on those greens was horrible. I had 3 birdie chances that were just horrible because or the aeration. Tee boxes could be a little better but I would give them a 7 out of 10.

I get you need to punch your greens, but not while I'm playing. It was a mess and just got done raining. Greens where not playable or puttable. Take the day off to do that. Not sure I'll ever come back.
