Lake Spivey Golf Club

Lake Spivey is on the cusp of being the premier public golf course on the southside. Layout is solid. Staff very friendly. Value for the solid, appropriate. Improvements… Real sand in bunkers, no more brown dirt. Greens are improving but still need to be better. No fungus but still patches throughout and still fury. Greens can make worst course 100% better, get Course some championship greens. And lastly, get a cart girl and/or water throughout the course for players. Take this course from good to great!

Tee boxes are chewed up. During patches in the fairway. Greens are in bad shape and leaves all over tge course. No way is a round here worth $58.

Course is in good shape staff was great but the greens are the worse greens I’ve played on this year

Got the hot deal on a Sunday so price was better than average. Course layout is good and conditions were better than expected. Pace was good and staff is excellent. Overall great experience and would recommend the course to anyone.

Friendly staff! Decent layout, most holes straight forward. Horrible greens! Too fury, too fury, too slow! Bunkers need sand not dirt, big difference. No coolers in water stations. The kitchen was not open at 11am on a Saturday & there was no cart person driving the course to accommodate golfers. Overall, this course & golf experience could/should be so much better!

Overall me and the boys had fun. Pace of play from a group in front of us was horribly slow all day with no relief. They had the entiee course backed uo for at least 3 to 4 holes.

Needed a marshall to see this and pusb them along.

Did get a some money back at check-in, mgr stated that thye were still working on the greens. Appreciated and they were absolutely still working on the greens.

Overall expensive price for a course that offers little and delivers about 65% of what you expect.

Greens were horrible. Fairways were poorly managed and some missing grass all together.

Waited behind ground crew the 1st three holes as they wanted to cut the greens and not get off even though a line of golfers started to pile up.

Staff was friendly but other than that no reason to golf here

Greens were horrible. Little to no sand in the bunkers. I have always enjoyed this course, but was quite disappointed in the conditions yesterday.

Greens here are usually in good shape and very challenging. A dry summer shows, with lots of dead patches. As usual, the staff is great.

Fantastic, is now my favorite course in Atlanta & this was first time❗

Well I read the reviews before I made my tee time but I still wanted to see for myself. The reviews were not wrong. The place has potential. Would not recommend or be back. The tee boxes and the greens are the worst I've ever played.

I set the wrong and they never offered any resolve and the course is sub par and they paired us with a pair we didn’t know

Great course and very friendly staff, HOWEVER they really should have temporary greens. The current greens are mostly unplayable. The back 9 is in better shape, but the front was really bad.

Been playing this course for the better part of 10yrs and it’s sad to see what the new management has done to this once great establishment. Being from the southside, it used to be somewhere you used to be proud to call your home course.
