Lake Spivey Golf Club

The Golf course should pay golfers to play. The greens were infected with some sort of disease. The course is poorly maintained.

The greens were in the worst shape ever and the course just changed out there greens with in the last year and they have lost them. Also, all the greens except 3 were covered with some type black Cala pillar live worm. Putting was impossible!

need green to be fixed, great during the spring and early summer always loose the in the fall every year.

Greens are either the length of the fairway and total mud or dry dirt. Horrible condition

I am an Atlanta native and played many courses around the region. I would rate this course a C- The greens are the same grass height as a typical fringe. Whoever designed the greens made a fatal mistake by not using sand in the top layer which has resulted in burned-out greens with terrible drainage. and the course is cluttered with downed pine trees and pine cones that have not been managed in at least 2 years. This is exactly why I typically play courses on the Northside of town.

Uncut or rolled greens, Rough that is cut to PGA tournament standards, Bunkers with a little sand and lots of rocks......Welcome to Lake Spivey! Oh, and don't forget to stop by the pro shop where the guy will tell you "I'm going to give you a DISCOUNT - at $62 bucks ?? Not to worry, I've alerted the 30 plus golfers that I regularly play with, and all of us will spread the word to boycott Lake Spivey until the conditions and Pirate Pricing gets resolved. I fell sorry for the regulars who frequent this course.

Lake Spivey should be ashamed of themselves!! I should have known something was wrong when the senior group that was scheduled to play before us all of a sudden decided not to play. My group teed off and once we got to the green was rough and had muddy spots, ok. Let’s go to hole 2. Muddy just like hole #1. We gave that hole a pass as well. We get to hole 3 then hole 4 and it’s still the same. Hole 5 was inoperable. Get through the front 9 and I was highly upset bc every green was just as bad as the 1st green. We decided to continue with the back 9 and they were just as bad. Hole 17 (Par 3)was probably the best one out there. Lake Spivey you need to definitely step your game back up to where you were a month ago. This is ridiculous. I recommend no one plays this course until they get it fixed.

This should be against the law charging ppl 60+ dollars

Greens were almost unputtable, cart paths were beaten up and bad shape. Fairways and tee boxes were fine but greens being unputtable isn’t the norm but didn’t know how bad they were until I went to check in

The greens were in terrible shape. Most of them had mud spots or weeds/crabgrass growing on them. I think they should have had something of note on their website or Golfnow. We should have been offered a refund or at least a raincheck to come back and play once the greens were in better shape.

Greens were awful, burn all over. They need new maintenance crew. Priced too high for these conditions. Tee to green okay , cart paths needs work as well.

Green fees should be 20 dollars for 18 holes.

Course overall was in good shape. The greens however were not. We were told in the club house that the greens suffered from the recent heat waves. only 3 greens were in good shape the rest had many bare spots but were still playable

The Course is in terrible condition 90% of all the greens is terrible. The fairways was cut, but the second cut was terrible. Could not find the ball if you was in that area.

Seems that nobody knows or cares to fix a divot fairways are in decent shape but the value is there
