To further explain the title, if the fairways and tee box’s were in better shape then this course would be great! I haven’t played here for a couple years and since the last time it’s in way better condition. The greens are very nice, little on the slow side but they rolled very true. I played in the afternoon and they were watering the greens while I was trying to hit my shot. Little annoying but is what it is I guess. Again, if the tee box’s and fairways were trimmed and cut better this course would be amazing.

Good course. Greens extremely slow. Watered and puffy, but that's a must to in this heat and lack of rain.

Grill note open and no cart girl is a drag but understood given the lack of community support and people wanting to work.

Booked tee time through through the app and when I got there, was told I wasn’t in the system (even though I had a confirmation code and had already paid in full). I ended up paying again at the pro shop $90 total for 18. The lady was rude at first but ended up refunding my original booking after finding me in their system. The greens are extremely slow and poorly maintained. The course itself was nice and challenging though. Besides the goose poop everywhere.

course in good condition greens are excellent little slow but good.

They’re currently growing the greens out so it’s almost worse than if they just punched them. Nothing like having a 4 day putt you need to treat like a 15 footer. The fairways were faster than the greens cause they are all dead and dry. Tee boxes were mostly dirt and uneven. Driving range was most likely the worst I’ve ever seen and couldn’t find a patch of grass anywhere.

This course has seen better days and is overpriced for the poor condition it’s in.

It also took an hour to play the first 3 holes and finished just under 5 hours for the round. We sat on the first tee box for 20 minutes and they had a starter.

Only come here if you have all day.

It was a fun course, with great greens, and needs the details to be great. From the so-so fairway conditions, poor scheduling with the tee times and having a bit of hold up to rushing, and not having any food options beyond the overpriced box snacks it created a feeling of poor value for a $60 round. I'll be back for another but hope conditions improve and the offerings get better.

Played this course at 7:30am (first tee time) for about $42. Not worth it. Greens are so slow they are almost not worth putting on. Most the fairways hadn’t been mowed in a week or so. A few bunkers were decent, but most were just dirt. Tee boxes were decent.

On the positive side- the clubhouse is pretty nice and would be a great spot to grab lunch after the round.

Course is in way better condition than a year ago. They are letting the greens thicken, which is tough to putt on but will be in great shape once the old dead patches fill in. The fairways are slowly coming back to life. Brand new carts, look forward to playing again. 40$ for 18 holes on a weekday is fair.

Course was beginning to look like the Spivey of old…very nice. Greens are immaculate almost on all 18 holes. Time to put this course back on regular play 😎

If they invested the time, energy, and money into this course, it would be as nice as it was in the early 2000s. But they don't. The greens are generally patchy and, when we played, uncleared and uncut. The tee boxes have little to no grass. Just the bare minimum.

But the course layout is fun and approachable for all types. The facilities are good and in my opinion one of the best public courses on the south side of Atlanta. But that's a low threshold.

i dont play on weekends and i rember why now. good to play with my son.
