Lake Spivey Golf Club

The course is in excellent shape and fun to play. The greens were also in excellent shape but could be cut a little lower. They were super slow. I will definitely play it again.

I enjoy playing Lake Spivey. The greens are amazing. The tee boxes need a lot of help. Over-all, I enjoy this course.

Fairways are hard not firm which may for a difficult time hitting approach shots.

Great layout, great greens but super slow. Fairways need water and lots of work. Miss the fairways and the course is unplayable due to rocks and roots.

The greens were in good shape but the fairways and tee boxes were below average. I would tell other players about the conditions before recommending.

This course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes have almost no grass, goose poop and/or standing water on the greens. They do the absolute bare minimum to call it a golf course. In the early 2000s, this was a great course but not any more. It's unfortunate.

Great course to get out and play. There are plenty of shots over water for your enjoyment. Greens are a bit spongy and slow but other than that, I highly recommend.

Play Spivey 5/21/23. Overall great day on the course. Greens were very nice just a little slow due to length but can’t complain. Fairway and tees should be back to normal soon hopefully but we’re still average if not slightly above average. Will be back for sure.

Pace of play was good. Need to fix and add more ball washers. Greens were in good condition but tee box's need to be fixed. Not a lot of grass. Several areas of the course lacked grass. A lot of dirt and rocks.

I played Lake Spivey for the first time this Saturday and was looking forward to playing so an up scale course only to find out it was not all that. The drive was in very bad shape. I hit ball at better just driving ranges where at least the grass was cut. Some fair ways looked as bad as the driving range. Was not really worth $65.00

I'm not a big review guy, however, the improvements to this course are amazing. For years Spivey had spotty greens, at times unreliable cards, and iffy tee boxes. Words can't express the strides they've made. I can't think of a green that wasn't full and perfectly cut. I'd say it's now one of the best-kept courses in south Atlanta.
