Lake Spivey Golf Club

There was no notice on Golfpass website that Lake Spivey was under repair on all of the greens.

So sad to see how awful this golf has become. By far the worst the putting greens ever happen to a golf course. They are mostly dirt and uneven patches of weedy grass on what’s to be to a putting green area. It’s seriously like this on every hole! Don’t waste your money here since it’s definitely overpriced for a not fun experience of golfing there now.

I’ve played this course off and on my whole life. And why is is steadily going down hill. This is on a whole new level! The greens are the worst greens I have ever seen. It almost looks like they tried to make (1-18) look this bad! Couldn’t even put for fear it would mess my game up. And this is on a course they charged $55 for.

Normally a good track but the greens are beyond being aerated. Give it a couple months to play. No way they should be charging normal rates.

Arrived to a packed parking lot and immediately could tell a tournament was being held by the tables and tents set up. Wondered how I could book a tee time with a tournament being held. We decided to start on the back 9. From the tee box you could see the fairway looked nice, but when the green came into sight - oh my!!!!!! Nothing green about it, all sand. The back 9 greens were gone. So bad they had alternate greens designed in front of the original greens. But these were not being used at least for today. Thought how could you hold a tournament with the greens like this? Worst shape I've ever seen. Refund please!

If I could give it a zero or a negative I would. The greens are in terrible shape. There are several holes with temporary greens, might as well just call them baseball mounds. This course is not playable until the greens are fixed.

Course was in great shape tee to green. But the greens were in terrible shape Can't recommend this course until the greens are better.

All green where damage by water and More than 7 where the prepare a temporary fairway green. Not in condition for players and at the clubhouse there was no notification of the matter. When I when in they explained a floating issue and to complain to Golfnow. Unpleable for months.

The greens are crap. The fairways are rough length. Ownership should be ashamed of themselves!

This used to be a beautiful course with great greens. The greens are so poor now that putting was a joke. Where there was grass, it hadn't been cut in two weeks at least.

Honestly believe we deserve a full refund for the conditions of the course when we played. When booking the tee time, there was no warning that the greens would be dead. We had to putt through dirt and sand - the pictures really don't do this justice. We would have left after 3 holes had it not already been an hour drive to get here.

The greens were horrible I have never played on such bad greens.

They should cut the price of playing this course in half and inform everyone of the pool condition of the a greens. If I could have I would’ve stop playing and ask for my money back like another player did

Greens are getting some serious maintenance. 2 put gimmies.

The rest of the course is in fine condition.

Fairways were in great shape, but the greens were horrible. Restaurant was closed and no cart service offered.

The course is laid out well, with some challenging tee shots and is visibly nice. The greens are absolutely horrible! How they feel they can charge full price when the greens are barely discernible from the fairways is beyond me!

At least let it be known the greens are not actually green. They are literally dirt. You all have pics up that makes it look nice. Be honest and let us decide if it's worth the price you charge.

The course is nice. Fairways are excellent but the greens were horrid. There’s some type of lawn disease going on.

As many people have mentioned...the greens are unplayable. Don't play here! The new management/owners have done alot of good things w the course and club house but they may be in alot of trouble with all the greens being in need of replacement.
