Narrow Fairways

Course greens, tee blocks, rough, and fairways in excellent condition. Some sand traps were flooded but others were soft. Sadly, I was in a sand trap on every hole. Enjoyed playing hole #9 and #18 - serious water opportunities!

Good experience overall

This is a decent resort course made tricky by trees encroaching towards the fairways making tee shots feel claustrophobic for someone like myself with a natural draw shape.

The conditions were very good with decent green speeds. One black mark as far as I was concerned is that there was no GPS on the cart and no sign of the course on SkyCaddie. I carry this with me as a back up in case of no GPS so was rather disappointed to have to guess pin positions and accurate yardages.

What a great course!

Second year in a row our foursome has spent a week golfing five rounds in Palm Springs. We all agreed this course outshines all the others we’ve played. From the bag drop to the eighteenth green the course conditions, staff service and all round atmosphere was first rate. We’ll be playing Desert Island a couple of times next year.

Desert Island did not disappoint

A fun course with tight fairways, a lot of water, and well maintained greens. A nice little bar with good food & drink. Course was in good shape a few holes had some excessive water issues but other than that really good condition

The only recommendation would be to bring mosquito repellent

Great Course and Staff

Course was in really great condition, I'm a 20 handicap so some holes with water were a little challenging. Pace of play was a bit slower than I like except we were behind a fivesome, so understandable. Staff is super friendly and I recommend giving this course a try.

Fantastic.

Great course inside a private community. Little pricey but the course itself is in amazing condition. Most fairways are a bit tight off the tee box but not too bad. Range buckets are included. Saw the beverage cart a few times which was also nice. Highly recommend.
