Desert Island Country Club

Greens are way too fast and they’re already very undulated so it’s very hard to read the greens and find the speed. You know somethings up when the starter tells you don’t hit onto the green because it won’t hold layup right before the green. makes for a long day of lots of three putts or worse.

Course was in very good condition other than some of the greens had areas where the mowers got too close. Very friendly staff. Cool vibe. Under 4 hour round for a 12:00 tee time excellent. Design wise some of the holes are a little strange. Weird tee box angles.

It was really a fun morning. First of all, Roland was very nice to push our reservation to the next day due to the storm. Staff was REALLY nice, Allan at the start was awesome with his tips on holes. Very beautiful course. Would have been easy to walk it, I think. A bummer we didn't see a drink/snack cart all day? I was pretty hungry at the end.

Oh, and on the Eagle...Saw a Bald Eagle on the Island Hole. So cool!

Friendly course meaning pretty open fairways but yet challenging

Fun course, easier than I expected with the amount of water the pictures show. I paid 150 on a Friday at 11, I’d say it’s worth 90. Greens are cut and rolled well but more dead/fungus spots than I’d like for sure.

Course is is good condition , greens are rolling fast. Fun tract to play for any level . Always enjoy.

A fun golf course to play. The amount of water is a challenge.

Played Desert Island for the first time. We really enjoyed the entire day. Staff was friendly and course was in excellent condition with a good layout. Overall the course was very fair with wide fairways. The water holes presented a bit of a challenge, but were not overly difficult. We played in under 4 hours with only a short wait on the 18th hole. Would definitely play this course again.

The course was in excellent condition and it's a fun and challenging course to play. The greens were fast,but manageable. We finished our round just under 4 hours. If you haven't played this course, you should.

Fairways are good . Except some of the green are No grass and very bad condition which may be have some viruses. Course layout is fun . Hope the green will get better soon.

Desert Island is an "old school" course. The layout was fun, some tight driving holes and some challenging water holes--good par threes. Pace of play was horrendous and there were no marshalls to be seen all day. Fairways were good but the greens were in need of serious ball mark repair--literally hundreds of ball marks on every green. It would be a great place to play at a lower price but there are better choices at this price point.

The service was great, the course was challenging and FUN! There was a BALD EAGLE swooping down to get a Koto-snack! Great day!

Staff were nice & friendly. However, I was part of a two-some that got paired w/another two-some. We had a group of 4 ranging from 33 yrs. old to 67. This means different tee boxes, distances & skill levels, all however fairly good. Our pace was just over two hours/nine holes, fantastic right?! The gentlemen who I assume are members/regulars at this course are rude, pushy & just plain awful to groups they are unfamiliar with. So, be prepared to get yelled at (which we did! after 5 holes from a group 3 holes behind!) about slow play! Are you kidding me?! $150 to get yelled at for playing 18 in under 4hrs.15 minutes with strangers?? No thanks.
