Desert Island Country Club

Very nice course in the best condition of the ones we played. some holes a little quirky but overall very nice and we would play it again We were flying out that evening so location worked well to play shower and head to the airport.

We've played this course lots in the last 3 winters and love it. The prices have gone up but so have they everywhere else. The staff especially the people who get yours clubs ready, the starter and those whho clean your clubs are so friendly and welcoming. The inside staff are very helpful too. The course is layed out well and good yardages for all to play from. The only negative would be the patio restaurant. It used to be so good but now it had little variety and was mediocre at best. They only had 3 things from the menu available. The main restaurant is only open 3 nights a week now.

Had a nice round at Desert Island. Rode as it was included but would be a very easy course to walk. Fairways were in great shape, a greens had some repairs going on but 95% of surface was fine and rolled nicely. Some fun shots over water. Will definitely return.

Staff are so attentive and welcoming! The starter Alan is our favorite person to start the round with! Course is in great shape. A couple of the greens have a little what appears to be disease but otherwise great shape!

The course played well for this time of year open for two weeks after reseeded greens well filled in fairways very good .

The course was in great shape. Greens a little shaggy but this was not long after the overseed.

I definitely would play here again.

We really enjoyed the course. It was very green compared to other courses which just over seeded.

All in all a good experience. Down side was the condition of the greens. Spotty growth issues but couldn’t understand why there were tire tracks crisscrossing 4-5 greens. One hole on front had tread marks right next to the hole.

Course just reopened from overseeing and is in tremendous shape

A great day of golf for us.. We played with some friendly young brothers and we all enjoyed the round. Terrific pace of play and wonderful conditions can't be beat. Water holes present extra challenge! Love playing this course.

Course has an older style layout. Some interesting water holes but too many back and forth holes that get a little boring. Tee boxes and greens were in rough shape. For this price there are a lot of better options out there. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I found the course was “nothing special” …. It was given a four and a half star rating on your website … the same as Firecliff at Desert Willow which is a beautiful course with awesome views not compatible to Desert Island. we found Desert Island very “plain” in comparison and we felt it does not deserve the same rating
