Desert Island Country Club

The website shows beautiful people having a great time but the reality is a staff that is ho hum, a course in decent shape at best and no amenities to speak of. Just ok. $100 was pricey also.

Nice layout with a bit of challenging holes mixed in with some resort style holes. LOTS of water, if you're wild bring extra balls. Played on a Sunday and got around in under 4 hours but the course wasn't too crowded. Fantastic amenities with a sweet outdoor bar and an amazing clubhouse. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Definitely would return. A couple of negatives, the greens right now are really baked out and it is very early in the hot season. They still rolled well even over the sketchy parts but I don't know how long they're going to hold up like that. Could have used a beverage cart out there. Even with a light tee sheet there were still enough thirsty folks out there on a Sunday to make it worth the while for someone to run around some beverages. This was my first try at this track and I definitely want to see it in its prime. See you in November folks!

Low stress golf course. Greens are in rough shape but run true. Bunkers well maintained .

We were greeted by friendly staff that loaded our clubs on to a cart. Check-in was fast and efficient. The course looks great and slightly frightening but once out there it was fairly friendly to the average golfer. The outside bar was awesome with delicious drinks. The environment is Mid-Century-Amazing!

This is very nice course to play, no real surprises here, hit well and be rewarded. I will play again.

That's what we called hole number #9. a dogleg par four. A large flat island 150 yards from the white tee box, over water and 250 yards to the end of the fairway. We named it Deserted Island after our foursome hit our tee shots that saw only water as the landing zone.

Greens in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes well maintained. Nice warm up/practice facility.

Course overall in very good shape and great value for the cost. Only disappointment was the driving range was closed Tuesday morning.

I played twice, Wednesday and Thursday morning. My first round took 2.5 hours and my second took 3.5 hours. I played as a single and the second time I played behind a foursome, played two balls and never caught them. The greens were 8/10 some rough spots, the tees, fairways and rough was a 10/10. The sand was a little thin in some spots but the overall course was immaculate. This is only the second course I played in PS, but I thought it had a lot of water which is really nice for the desert.

No Gps and the scorecard ihas no layout of the course. We had a hard time figuring whete was the green on certains holes. Lot of leaves in the course.

Staff was friendly.

Would play again any time. It's been a few years since I last played the course.

Course has lots of mature trees that can hinder shots if you’re off the fairway. Very fair layout with a couple of very challenging holes.

Course was reasonably well maintained, older course, traditional mostly straight fairways, with a few strange holes with long water carry. Club facilities showing some age and only food available was from a snack bar.

Disappointed with golf now, as we paid $130 plus the service fees and when one of our players went to check in he was told it was prepaid, but the cost was $100 per. Seem like an exorbitant mark up to me.

Outstanding experience.this is a hidden gem. It looks and plays like a private club course. I’ll definitely be back.

Nice practice facility. Greens are huge. Standard toughness. Hole number nine, however, has a postage stamp fairway surrounded by water and is amongst the hardest holes in the country.

For some reason the course wasn’t busy, which made the pace of play great. The course was in good condition and played very fair.
