Desert Island Country Club

Everything about Desert Island was great. The course was in fantastic shape with an enjoyable and fun layout. I don’t have any to leave anyone out so I just want to say the entire staff could’ve have been friendlier,

Staff was extremely friendly and course was in great shape.. Will definitely put it on our schedule during our next vacation.

This was an awesome course. The greens were in rough shape but I attribute that to them getting ready to re-seed for the winter, but some warning on the website would been nice. Other than that, the course was beautiful and challenging.

Friendly staff greets you. Always over watered course. The rough was 8". Lost 4 balls in the rough. I get the idea trying to save money by not mowing in the off-season.

Lovely course, not the most difficult layout but some very fun holes over water. Fairways, bunkers and greens in very good condition. Staff were excellent and very friendly, got range balls, cart and 18 holes for $35! Will def be back

So, a few of my buddies played here a couple of times and when I asked them how this course was they said it was alright. Well, after playing it yesterda, it's way nicer than alright. I see myself playing here much more. Course conditions were very good. I gave it 4 stars on condition only because a few tee boxes were in rough shape. We did play the Black tees though. The white and blue tee boxes looked great. Look forward to coming here again soon.

this course has zero houses on it. also, no desert. probably an upsell from years past. an older course which could easily be navigated with just your irons. tee shots are at a premium on this course. better have your inner field goal kicker going. narrow entries on all par 4's due to the very mature trees along with some fairways lined with water hazards.

the super slow greens don't match the course. green after green slow & fluffy like any muni-course usa. otherwise easily 4 stars if the greens were like 95% of the courses in palm springs. this course is centrally located.

This place has really good vibes. Desmond Muirhead makes you think about your position on every shot. Water everywhere. The course was in good shape other than a few patches here and there. Greens were super sluggish. The staff was awesome.

Course was fun, not too challenging, but way too costly for the summer, so just one and done for me and my friend.

Greens are in not good condition and some of them run fast and some very slow with dead grass spots everywhere. Slow players in front of us. Some tee boxes have overgrown grass.

Had a great time with my family. I have played most of the courses in the valley over the years. This is great value for a family. Teed off at 8:10, only had a few singles to deal with. We let them play through. Done in under 4 hours including the let through. Course has a few rough spots. But that is to be expected during the summer. Overall in good shape. Andrew at the bag drop and Jeremiah in the restaurant we’re amazing. They really went out of their way. A great day.

Staff was super friendly, free range balls, nice golf carts, no one in front or behind for most of the round. Will most definitely be back, if nothing else to get revenge on hole 9 and it’s devilish Island fairway
