Great improvement of greens and the fairways since a couple of months ago. Very impressed.

We had a wonderful time playing a round in under 4 hours (with every tee time filled). The scenery is fantastic: trees, palms, mountain views, water features, beautiful, generally wide, rolling fairways, nice elevation changes, holes with sharp dog legs. Many holes are interesting, but 9 and 18 get the top award. There are several drink stands on the course and a roaming snack cart. Cart paths are concrete and in excellent condition. Fairways, rough and greens are all in great shape (with few regions under repair). The greens are quite fast, but we managed to handle that after a few holes. We highly recommend this course.

Playing this course notched my 50th different course over the last 3 years. With SO many once great mid-priced golf great golf courses in the Riverside County area sinking to just ok golf courses, Desert Island/The S is a real reminder of what a course CAN be without going over $100. ($72.99 on GolfNow.com). Absolutely some of the best tee boxes, fairways and greens I've played in the last year or so. Wonderful grass/turf everywhere. NO bare or brown spots anywhere!!! Greens were in perfect condition (though a bit slow) with almost NO ball marks! The greens are challenging with breaks on most puts and many with punishing downhill rolls if you miss the hole. However, they are readable and consistent. I LOVED the layout and risk/reward offered on many of the holes.

This was my first time here and one of the best courses and values I've experienced in the last 3 years. I will be back.

Our group is looking forward to playing the course as soon as we can get a tee time.

Traditional resort style golf course. Well maintained.

Formerly "The S" the course winds back and forth starting at the perimeter toward the center where the lake creates some challenging holes to end each nine. Conditions were good with medium speed greens. The wind picked up on the last 6-holes making for a difficult finish. Would likely play here again.
