Starter tries to rush players
Very good course. Greens Not Great, but just ok.
The starter tries to rush players to the first tee, 40 minutes early.
The starter, brings a 4th player to our 3some on the 2nd tee box, instead of pairing him up with the 2some behind us.
The course is fun to play, some of the par 5's are reachable.
Tree lined fairways, with water coming into play on quite a few holes, as well as many bunkers.

Perfect Place to Play in the Desert

Great time at DI
Love this course!! I gave this course 4 stars because the greens weren’t in great shape. Slow and a bit bumpy, not typical for CC golf. Other than that, the course was in great shape and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Ol’ Blue Eyes…
Went out today to have some vacation fun in Rancho Mirage at Desert Island formerly known as “The S” it’s rumored that Frank played here many times which is why it was called “The S” but I will say nice place, staff is super friendly & welcoming to all guests first timers or even their own club members. Simple layout built in the ‘70s so it’s not overly long but can be as they have added some new tee boxes. Greens & fairways were great, bonus you get free balls to warm up with on the range. Very green everywhere which was a beautiful sight. I would play this course again.
