Tee boxes were like hitting from a smooth carpet, fairway grass was great, greens were fast.

Nice round of golf.

the greens were spotty due to some kind of grass kill. Nevertheless, they rolled true, and the main distraction was appearance. Fun to play and we moved around in 4 hours- what could be better?

I enjoyed playing Desert Island. The course was in great shape and we played in reasonable time (just under 4 hours).

Greens and fairways were immaculate and rolled an estimated 10-11.. Course set up was fair, unlike some of the other desert courses I played where the greens were 12-13 and the holes were cut on a slope or tiny plateau.

All in all a very enjoyable place to play.

My 17-year-old son and I had the chance to play Desert Island Golf Course on March 14, and overall, it was a great experience. The course was in immaculate condition—greens rolled pure, fairways were lush, and the bunkers were well-maintained. It’s clear that the grounds crew takes pride in keeping the course in top shape.

The staff was welcoming and professional. The starter, Allan, was cool and very informative. The layout itself was enjoyable, with a mix of challenging and scorable holes that kept things interesting throughout the round.

The only downside was the pace of play. The front nine dragged foe three hours due to a single player and a young kid ahead of us, with no marshal present to help move things along. That made for a frustrating start, though things improved on the back nine when we slipped ahead at the turn.

Weather-wise, we were unlucky. Warm, cold, windy, gusty—we experienced it all! Made for a tricky round.

Despite the slow front nine, I’d definitely return!

The course was in very good condition. The 9 and 18 holes are challenging but fun due to water. The greens were very fast and tough to get used to. The practice greens were fast but not as fast as the greens on the course. I will go back again to give it another go now that I know about the greens.

The course was in great condition, Allan, the starter, is friendly and knowledgeable, and the pro shop and cart attendant’s are wonderful and helpful.,

We were paired with artworks guys from TX, and it was a lovely day all round. Only lost two balls. 🤣

Loved this course. Excellent condition and challenging, except 9th hole which is virtually impossible for the average golfer no matter which tee box you hit from. Have to cross water twice. Really?

Fairways are pure, staff are top shelf.

Greens are in a maintenance cycle and Greenside bunkers are a little firm.

Pace of play was excellent.

Will play this course again, and again

I am a 7 handicap and enjoyed playing this course. First 4 holes are par 4s then gets more interesting. I definitely recommend. Had a 12:40 tee time and finished in 3 hours 15 minutes.
